I just want to clarify something, the priority/rotation suggests using HB as a priority right after the diseases as long as there's KM up so...
1. If there's a KM proc and Rime but Frost Fever just died, do I recast Frost Fever and consume the KM or cast the HB first?
2. How long do you recommend waiting for a KM once Rime procs? I'm just guessing that with no KM I should only use my HB when all runes are on CD and I don't have enough RP to cast FS, but I just wanna be sure.
EDIT
I'm thinking I might go DW Frost w/o IIT, Glyph of Disease/ DW Frost W/ IIT Glyph of Icy Touch for my dual spec.
So assuming both builds, in which situations would the lack of IIT result in higher DPS? Raids with high numbers of casters? Which would be better for Heroics?

Ive come to a bit of a quandary. Ive geared up quite a bit recently, so I decided Id try to maximize my dps by going to ej and doing some reading. Ive been using the iit/blood subspec for a while now and I average between 4 and 4.1k on the ebon hold (note: single target) training dummy using the "lazy" one disease glyphed hb rotation. The only things I ever use are hb, ob, fs and bs when Im rp empty and I need the death runes. So I switched to the iit/bcb spec, followed the suggestion rotation to the t..and dropped like a rock to 3.3-3.4k. Ive since gone back to my lazy rotation/spec and am back in the 4k club. What gives? Is my gear just optimized for the blood subspec or what?

99% ppl in here will try to make u change to unholy subspec. my advice is that if u wanna keep getting those goods numbers, u should stay at blood, unless u reach 40% crit unbuffed or something like that, when DR does his work and wont let u get extra crits from OB.
almost every geared DK on my server is switching to frost/blood spec because they are pulling way greater dps compared to the frost/unholy one.

@silverd - I generally wait till the last second of a Rime Proc to cast it if there is no rime, or if I am out of any other form of attack. If FF is off and you use rime/km than that is a huge loss of dps. KM lasts a few seconds so reapply the FF and then use Rime/KM
@Vellas - Ignore pichu. The advantage of Blood Subspec is subversion which lowers your threat and allows you to maintain your dps more often. However speccing deep into Blood subspec outside of subversion is not an intelligent use of points once you get past uld 10 gear. BcB scales beautifully with upgraded hit and haste.
@pichu - 40% crit unbuffed is not only ridiculously high. It would be extremely difficult to get with the gear we have, and DR comes into affect with buffed stats, which 40 percent crit we are constantly past.
