Some animals have morals such as wolves, among others. Wolves have to have respect for the pack and contribute to the pack, and if they break this code, the other wolves will turn on them and kill them, as to prevent their pack from being negatively effected. This is what I would call morals - each wolf in the pack has to consider what is right for the pack and wrong for the pack, and if they step outside that line, their fellow wolves may kill them.

Right, blademeld, you wanted to know a couple of things, right?
Well, we can't eat pigs because God says that they are unclean. He doesn't say why, the whole garbage thing was us trying to come up with a reason (which is a bad thing to do, btw). As to the whole marrying then one women thing: It can be done under certain conditions, The first of which, is if his first wife is sterile or cannot sexually please the husband for any reason, so instead of getting a divorce (Which is allowed in islam, but is considered a bad thing), he gets another wife. Second, if he wants to take care
full and constant
care of another women (and any children she might have). Further more, when a woman gets married, she can make a condition that if the husband marries another women, she can get a divorce. Anything else I can answer or illustrate?

Faith is conviction of truth without tangible "proof". The Bible says that "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
I do not need "Proof" when I have Faith.
You sound like a serial killer."They're all sinners, I know it to be true! I'm convinced they must all die, RAWHHH!"

Fact: just because you claim a fact doesn't make it a fact.
Maybe there have been killings of lion cubs by their father, after all, we don't keep a track of all the wild animals.
If you don't have proof then your theory is wrong, you can't just say the proof "is out there", by the same method I could argue the existence of pink, fluffy dragons. I don't just claim things to be fact, I back myself up with proof.

I do not need "Proof" when I have Faith.I have faith that there is a ceramic teapot floating somewhere between the Earth and Mars.
I have no proof, but I'm absolutely sure it exists.

I didn't want to read 16 pages of arguments so I'm just responding to the OP
You are, partially, correct, there is no reason why you
have
to be moral if there is no god, because there are no punishments or rewards. However, those that still follow a moral code without believing that they will be punished for not doing so are the only truly moral people, because if you really need to have a big man in the sky tell you "do this or else" you are not a moral person, you simply dislike punishment and like rewards, instead of truly doing your best to follow your ideals and beliefs. Why is it good to be a moral person? Short answer: Because moral people say it is.

So, I'm not the only one?

moral does not mean my morals, it means your morals, and I don't know what they are, but if you follow some, then it simply means that you act how you feel people should act, regardless of whether I agree with it or not.
and by the way, society in general is made up of moral people.I don't believe in morals.
I don't believe killing is wrong.
I don't believe that people should be selfless.
And I'm working on becoming a virologist. Isn't that lovely?

So, if I were to painfully hang your mother/sister/other important person with a thin metal wire, you'd be down with it?

So, if I were to painfully hang your mother/sister/other important person with a thin metal wire, you'd be down with it?No, but that's just because of parts of my minds that I can't control. I wish I could choose if/who I am attached to, but I can't. On principle, I don't believe in morality. For example, if someone were to painfully hang someone else's mother/sister/other important person, I would be down with it.

And there, boys and girls, is the kind of sick and twisted insanity that my religion does not encourage.
Poor fellow. May the Shtols offer you their guidance.

Go on. Despise me. I love hate.
And ASHelmy, I think preventing pain to me is a good thing. I don't particulary care what happens to anyone else, other than the people I'm biologically programmed to care for. I'm not a sadist, I don't enjoy other people's pain, but I don't really care either.

That's all other humans. Its just some can overcome their "programming" and have no problem hurting others. I doubt you're as emotionless as you think, you're not attached to your family because of your biology (you have around the same attachment level as any other humans), its because you're emotionally attached.
You know when you're watching TV and you see someone wipe out in pain and you "feel" it?
You literally do feel it.
So when you're talking about how you biologically care for others, biologically you care about all other humans that you see on some level.
