Character:
Aelnon/Torphaz
Location:
Arena, The Argent Tourney, Icecrown
Aelnon and Torph moved behind the other champions, intending to assist if they should attack Valinaria. "So, Nathadan is back." Torph said in to her ear and she nodded, reconizing the power of the High Elf even if his armour and weapon had been altered.
((ooc - if you have to refer to Aelnon and Torph, just consider them the Blue Knight and the Green Druid.))

- "Your majesty, please, treat her as if she were a high elf. We've had this discussion before" Dralas said, Varian looking back up towards Garrosh.
"You damn humans tried to kill us all!" Garrosh barked.
"How dare you accuse me if such things! The Alliance would never take in part of such actions!" Varian shouted, now angry.
"Both of you! I assure you, neither the Alliance nor the Horde had any take in this event. The loss of the gnome was a tragic one, but it shows us that dark magic is never something to try and control" Dralas said.
"Our next event are the Argent Crusaders! You will fight my men and get past!" Dralas yelled.
"Your men! Bah" Garrosh yelled, angry.
"I will have my horde replace your men, and show that pathetic king that you cannot beat the might of the Horde!" Garrosh yelled.
"Very well then, I will allow it" Dralas said, Horde suddenly forming up at the arena entrance.
"Fight with honor and valor my champions! Bring honor to your country and king! Glory to the Alliance!" King Varian yelled, the men roaring in valor, rallied by the king's words.

"We're sitting this one out." Torph said firmly, and Aelnon nodded in agreement. The two moved over to the edge of the arena and stood watching as the Horde and Alliance pounded on each other for no good reason.
"Why are we helping them again?" Torph asked, throwing up a shield as a stray blast of magic came their way. "Wish I could answer that my love." Aelnon said with a sigh, punching out a Horde orc that decided they should be attacked.

- Horde battled the Alliance champions, Garrosh becoming increasingly frustrated and Varian smiling, his champions pushing back the Horde.
"The Lich King is the only one who gets anything out of this" Dralas muttered.

((Ok, gonna try to get back))
Character: Maldan
Location: Mord'rethar
Floating with his feet slightly above the ground, Maldan was slowly moving along the Death Gate, inspecting the work in progress. When he came close to the contraption being built, he beckoned the cultist overseeing the skeletal workers to him.
The cultist approached and kneeled.
"Master, how may I serve?"
"I only want you to tell me, when it will be operational." Maldan asked the young cultist.
"I'm not sure, master, but m-maybe a day or two?"
"You have access to a tireless work force, and it will take two days? Put some more skeletons to work and get it finished!"
"Of course, right away!"
Maldan turned his back to and ignored the man, who quickly scurried away to get some more skeletal laborers. On the far end of the gate, he spotted a tall figure. Judging by it's clothes, it was not a cultist, and neither did it radiate the energy of an undead being. His senses didn't reveal anything either, so he waited eagerly for the figure to approach...

- The horde were finally pushed back, the Alliance side of the arena roaring and cheering, the horde side rather angry.
"Enough of this!" Garrosh barked, Dralas raising the Ashbringer to stop the match.
"I challenge Varian himself to one on one combat!" Garrosh yelled, Thrall turning to Garrosh suddenly.

"Oh this won't end well." Aelnon murmured to Torph and he chuckled slightly. "We'll step in if it get's too far?" He asked her and she nodded. She wasn't a huge fan of Varian or Thrall, but knew that if either of the leader's died, it would throw both factions into chaos.

"Greetings, master lich!" the elf said from a distance. Maldan now recognized his deep red robes with green crystals.
"Greetings, prince...?"
The elf smirked. "Not all of my kind are San'layn. I am Seljac of the darkfallen, and I served your superior Kel'thuzad. Our master is now... absent... however, and I have come to lend you my talents."
"My apologies. Seljac, was it? I will gladly take you into service. I have heard much of your kind. Perhaps we can both learn from eachother." Maldan said excitedly, aware of the dark magic mastered by these elves.
The elf nodded slightly. "This machine your cultists are constructing... what is it?"
Maldan paused a little before continuing.
"Does your kind value the magic of mechanics? This... is a counterweight catapult. With it, we will be able to launch projectiles to Crusader's Pinnacle, the Argent Vanguard, even Dalaran itself."
"But, surely there must be better ways of launching projectiles? Magical means? Explosives?"
"We are not going to bombard Dalaran with rocks and cannonballs, no... Our shots are much more delicate. Too fragile for a cannon... Construction will be finished in the morning. Accompany me to my citadel at the Desolation gate. At dawn, death will fall over Crusader's Pinnacle."
((One of
these
of course. And you all know what the payload gonna be. But now it's time for bed, I think.))
