Pixel perfect a border around your tooltip, move your aura text either fully in your target or out (to match the ui), and tell me how you did that buttonskin thing

more stuff.
I'll get on it! I also didn't do that, that's just my 'pushed' texture. The proc thing is still there (:

OH MA GOSH YOU'RE USING TWO TYPES OF FONT.
OH AND THOSE SHADOWS ON THE CASTBAR TEXT. TUT TUT.

Not sure if I like that black thing either, the erm thing that goes around the whole screen.
What Unit Frames?
I personally use oUF, which is mainly configured using lua code. One that is quite popular at the moment is stUF, which has in game configuration.
On a personal note, is there any clever people out there that could tell me how to increase the 'spacing' on my tooltip? I had the same problem on my chat but that was easily changed with
ChatFrame1:SetSpacing(2)
Not sure what the correct name is for the tooltip though.

What unit frames do all you guys use, and what do you look for in a UF addon?
Right now I'm using a combination of Grid (for self/party/raid) and Stuf (for target/focus/tot/tof). I like Grid's indicators and can't find another unit frame mod that is as configurable and uses the same style of indicators. Stuf seems to be the most configurable UF mod available, and I think that is what makes it popular.

Work in progress. Please feel free to pick it apart and ruthlessly criticize my lameness.

From a layout standpoint, it's actually pretty decent. Is it appealing, though? not really.Make sure that your using the same texture throughout all of your unit frames/meters/etc. Also, kill the porky font on your MSBT, it makes me die a little inside every time I see it. You might also want to pick up a nice clean button skin with ButtonFacade.

*sniff sniff* but...but...that's my FAVORITE font of all time! I can't play without it! /cry
Seriously though, what do you think now?

It's getting closer, your grid and cast bar still don't have a consistent texture with the rest of the UI. Also, skin your buffs like your action bars. Your MSBT also has tons of information that could be abreviated or hidden altogether, such as the target's name.

Hmm...I'm not seeing an option in buttonfacade to buttonfacade-ize my buffs. Am I not seeing it or do I have to download a separate addon to for it?
Also, Grid is being a dirty dirty little (...). When I click on the pull down menu to change the texture all I can see is "Interface/Addons/G..." so I can't really tell which one I'm supposed to use >.<
o.O
Clicky
Wow, either I'm blind or my grid doesn't even have an option to change the bar texture..

Re-made my castbar so that it's now part of the oUF instead of a standalone addon.
One problem is I'm struggling at how to make the player one class color, if anybody is able to help me with it then I'd be very happy.
Advantages of having a code based UI? It works with every resolution!
Screenshot on my dads PC as it's where I'm going to be playing quite a lot for a few weeks.

Random question.
I briefly tried TukUI once to see what the hubbub is about, and my favourite thing was that the entire "UI Compilation" was consolidated into one or two "addons" with all the necessary code, leaving out GUI config sections, thereby saving heavily on memory.
So my question is, is it relatively easy (assuming you know what to pull) to do this yourself, with your own addons/UI? Say once I'm happy with everything, could I just chop out all the GUI Config code from my addons then lump them together à la Tuk to save memory? (and simplify my addon list)
