So I got TukUI because I couldn't not have a UI.
My nameplates are STILL broken, so I can't tank.
Yeah I'm running TidyPlates Threat Plates right now.. >.>

many bugs, a part from nameplates (seems a bug of the default ones, i can display on screen only 2/3 of them) i have problems with the target name, which seems to appear/disappear when he feels it's right.
anyway, we need to wait some time like every patch day.

What? I tank without name plates.

nameplates are useful for tanking...you can have a good look at aggro on the mobs without effort.

Well props to you. I like AoE pulls, and I can't see aggro on one mob compared to another. Tab + Omen is inefficient.

If your nameplate addon isn't working, try the built-in nameplates. They're not pretty, but I guess they're okay to use until your addon gets updated.

the bug is about the deafult ones not displaying.
you can "hotfix" them setting a bloatsomething variable though /console command and set it to 1, but it's ugly as hell.
blizz already stated that a client fix is coming.

My bad, I was under the impression that a certain addon wasn't working.

I don't either, if you don't use them, you don't rely on them. However, if you're used to being able to see every mob's threat on you above their heads, then having it gone all of a sudden is pretty jarring.
Something as simple as my Clique/Grid breaking (I use it to Right click grid for Righteous Defense) threw me in the dirt in my first couple heroics. I felt so clumsy it was ridiculous.

My Tab was Killing Spree on my rogue for quite a while, so I can't say anything there.

@saft: have you any prblems edting tukui? i am stuck with the name on the panel and seems it cannot be moved anywhere even if i change anchors.

Just updated mine:

DecUI (modified version of TukUI), slightly modified by me and with the addition of MSBT, ArkInventory and PowerAuras.
EDIT: Glad to hear it's not a custom UI bug hurting name plates. I am itching for that hotfix.

yeah there was something where you had to do in the functions, but an easy fix (what I do now) is to just re-anchor the panel to where ever you want (Like I have mine set to panel:SetAllPoints(Health).

yeah i thought the same...but with this the panel shouldn't overlap health bar and so we cannot see it?
maybe a SetAlpha(0) is needed? or just that works? since i'm gonna try this evening when i get home on my notebook.
EDIT: in the functions.lua file there is the TukuiDB.PostNamePosition function. it sets the name in the panel no matter what. just edit it and it works wonders.

That's too much of a pain to go find every time to want to move your name. :P I just removed any lines from the panel code that had to do with a graphic, so this is all I have:
-- create a panel
local panel = CreateFrame("Frame", nil, self)
panel:SetAllPoints(health)
panel:SetFrameLevel(2)
panel:SetFrameStrata("MEDIUM")
panel:SetBackdropBorderColor(unpack(TukuiCF.altbordercolor))
self.panel = panel
