Hehe, no problem. I just took a look at the lua for stuf though, and I think it's safe to say that you'll have a much easier time just picking up
AzCastBar
(or any cast bar addon, that one's just my favorite) and just configuring that.
:p

Try this:
Open bars.lua (
Stuf
folder) and replace line
499
with
f.barbase = CreateFrame("Frame", "STUFCastBar", uf)
edit: I haven't tested this.
This nearly works; it lets me parent things to the castbar, but they're there permanently.
Thanks for the help though! :)

When I made panels for my Stuf unit frames, the panels would be there when I logged in right in the middle of my screen. If I turned config mode on and off, they worked properly.

Not flaking on anyone, but why does it seem like most people in this thread seem to work towards an UI like
this.
Point being almost nothing on it.

Too much clutter, get rid of the minimap imo.

I like to see the game when I'm playing, but I also like having everything else visible as well... I tend to go for a lot of transparency and minimize anything I don't need to be staring at (so my action bars are small and usually slightly see through, my unit frames over time have gone from long w/portrait to boxy with no frills, and my minimap is 80-90% of the original size with to buttons or any extras besides zone name and coordinates).
Though I do spoil myself by adding useless crap like pixel thin lines to connect UI elements... I feel it draws everything together and makes it look... nice. I'm a sucker for a 90degree angle apparently.
That being said, I doubt I'll ever go for a full on minimalist UI look like that screenshot... I like having my data/action bars/chat/unit frames showing in and out of combat, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Here I go again.

Idle:

The missed icons are not missed (middle right raw) just saw that it was a swift + arrow and unbinded it it.
I think its better withought the panels.
While I'm inclined to agree with everyone else about this. I'm going to
try
and take it seriously, assuming you truly like how it looks...
I can't help but notice (and be terribly bothered) by your micro menu. Ignoring the fact that it's even there, why are some of the cutouts for the buttons bigger than others?

Do we want another discussion like this?
People have different tastes, but from design-POV some are better than others.

My current work in progress.
Clean
ZOMGNAEMPLATZ
Combat
ToT & Castbars
Addons
Unitframes
As you can see, I'm mostly going for a unified look, and pixel-perfect borders. Now, apart from the glaring issues like the overlapping chat background and bottom panel, or the ton of info text, I'd like some input on where or if to place the actionbars, minimap and focus frame and anything else that comes to mind. Critics are welcome as well.
Also, how the hell did I get the Kim Possible theme song stuck in my head?
Hmm, I think if you took the bottom panel and just wrapped it around your action bars it would look much nicer. Then, just align the bottom of the chat panel and the bottom of the action bar panel. Also, I suggest going for a 0,0 ShadowOffset on font and adding a monochromeoutline instead.
Your chat's quite big for my taste, but meh.

WHAT IS WITH YOU PEOPLE AND MONOCHROME.
Every time I try the monochrome option, it ends up looking all pixelated and crappy...
I just go with standard and continue on my way.

Mainly just looking for C&C on the unit frames right now, though I'll list what I plan to do in the future.
Shrink mini map (and take off the omen icon)
Take away chat buttons and tuck more into corner
Customize skada
Hide omen & stance bars
Customize stuf party frame
FIX FONTS (if I had any clue how)
C&C very much appreciated.

Ditch the pixelfont. At so big size it looks horrible (talking mainly about target/ToT names, but on cast bars it looks meh-ish too).
Move the time of buff icons down/up, so it's easier to see what buff you actually have.
You have Omen installed, so you PvE at least occasionally. Think about how goddamn HUGE the target debuff area will get in a raid.

Monochrome is just for pixelfonts, google it and you might understand the diffrence between Non-Monochrome and Monochrome
;)
