I was FINALLY able to scrounge up some time to go back to an old project I started months ago...
SO...revisited WiP

ANNNNND
Now:
Idle in Shat targeting someone who is fishing :D

In Combat pwning some Northrend baddies

I am really happy with its new direction, I wanted to make something that was a bit lighter on the paneling but still had some "pizazz."
Still TONS to do, but c/c is always most certainly appreciated and welcome :D
ps. To explain Pitbulla little, the blue bars are the player/target mana and the castbar overlaps the manabar when the player or target is casting. And the "FIGHT!" is my incombat dogtag hehe.

Your UI is absolutely fantastic, it has to be said. I followed the link in your sig, and I do want to use it quite badly, but before I do, is there some way to save my current config or something in case it doesn't work out for me (for instance, your description says it's made for 1680x1050 and I'm on 1440x990)?
Thank you and awesome work. :D
Just backup your current Interface and WTF folders somewhere. Fonts too, if you already use custom fonts. If you ever want to go back, delete the new ones and put your old ones back.

I was wondering, do you ever get that problem where a 1 pixel line or border isn't actually perfect on all edges? Sometimes I have to move a panel around until it sits somewhere on my screen that gets perfect edges all around. It's like some places on the screen blur an edge just because it's at some sort of uneven value. :(
Bit of a perfectionist so I try to fight that problem where I can. I don't see it anywhere on yours..
Dig 'em both though!

I can't answer your question, but I have my own!
I was curious as to how you two are lining and centering frames up. Is it that Align addon? Help!

I'm screwing around with that, too. Last night about 1h for 2 frames! .. Indeed moving around is the only solution (as far as I know)...

I'm not such a fan of Align. As for PitBull, you can align the frames under /pitbull > Player > Other > Position ... of course this works for (almost) every other frame too. Theses settings always refer to the center of the screen...
What I do to place other frames is that I use KGPanels: Make a panel > align it as you like and take it to "dock" other frames to it... after that just delete it again...
Good luck

Pitbull alignment and Align can come in handy, though a lot of my final alignments end up being careful mouse work. ;p
If you're having trouble, use Align. Type /align 512 or maybe even 768, it changes how many squares are displayed and ultimately can give you a much finer alignment. I'd also leave alignments until the very last step, it gets frustrating making changes and then having to line them back up again.

My new Bag Config... will be in v1.4 which will be up today...
Bags with most important categories
Showing all categories with items except Ammo
Search for 'fish' :D
I really can reccomend Baggins. It's a great Bag mod :)

For anyone else wondering about this issue, it seems that for some reason WoW applies multi-sampling to the UI elements as well as the game world. When UI elements are in certain locations it doesn't seem to work out so well. If multi-sampling is set to 1x in the video options all the blurred edges disappear entirely.

Blinky, beautiful UI. I want to install it and use it but I have a 24" monitor and I have the 1900 x 1200 resolution. How would I go about scaling it to that resolution? And for the addons, whatever I don't want to use, I can just disable right? Yes, I'm a noob. Thanks.
Well I wouldn't bother with anything yet as I am about to upload a completely new version, thanks to Metz for his recent upload. I personally don't like the 'minimalistic' approach to Metz' UI, however his unif frames are so gorgeous I had to steal them. Sry 'bout that...
But anyway, once I finish polishing I will upload my latest version and you can attempt to maneuver that to your resolution. I would suggest changing the UI scale, however that wont end with perfect results every time so good luck with the fine-tuning!

Yup. This is true. Caith had even released a "1x multi-sampling" only UI because it fixed his borders. Haha

Does anyone have an elegant solution to the tracking menu problem? I loathe mini map buttons, but I would like to have a tracking menu near the mini map. Any suggestions?
Edit: It'd be rad if I could right click on my mini map and get a tracking menu to pop up.

I use sexymap and it has an option to show things on mouseover which is what I set the tracking menu to. I am sure other minimap addons have similar options that might work well for you.

I have a little secret for that :-) And like you, i don't like jagged edges on lower multisamples.
What you need to do is adjust the vertical/horizontal positioning by adjusting the actual number, not clicking and dragging the frame around on the screen. Like, say I created a square panel. And the left and right sides were perfect but the top and bottom were fuzzy...I would adjust the vertical position to something like 111 or 222. Use something that repeats the same value. Usually it only takes one or two tries. Once you have the panel how you want it, you can still click and drag it to move it around or adjust the size with the slider.
Hope that helps :-)
