On my old server (Shattered Halls), a bunch of other Hordies and I decided to attack Ironforge from the tram entrance. After about thirty minutes of fighting Alliance and guards alike, I was stealthed in the tram area. A NE Disc priest and a Human Shadow priest stayed back to make sure none of us would come back. I unstealthed and sat next to them at their campfire.
After emote-conversing for a bit we ended up becoming pretty good friends. Somehow we emoted our way into vent (by use of the official server forums) and over the next couple weeks, we hung out, dueled eachother and others, not to mention the fact we griefed horde and alliance lowbies alike.
Unfortunately, I transfered to Bonechewer and changed my characters name, so I lost contact. They were good people though, it was a lot of fun.

Undead are pretty win I must say. They deserve a better city.
I've had as many good interactions with Horde as I have bad, for example earlier today I was doing the Abomination exploder quest in Icecrown when a BE DK ran by with a few mobs chasing her (leftovers from the explosion missing), I decided 'What the heck, i'll lend a hand.' /thankyou /bow and continue on.
Then there's being bored waiting for OS to start, so some of my guildies and I decide to start ganking that Horde raid and proceed to get stomped by the full 25 when a few of them finish summons. =O
Had a gank turn into a nice experience on the daily isle once, was ganked by a Rogue near the docks, I spirit run back and see that he's dueling another Rogue, with a warlock watching. Well the other one dies and I rezz, one-shot the loser and get hit by Blind with a cast 90% complete. x.x Needless to say I get killed by the same Rogue again, but a few minutes later I get a tell from a lvl 1 Alliance saying something like "LOL, that was pretty funny man. Gratz on the ninja kill, we'll let you finish your dailies now : )".
Was pretty cool.

Don't know if it's been said yet, but the number one reason the other faction doesn't suck is blue women. On both sides.
Awww yeah.

actually, nothing is suck about the alliance or the Horde, it's just because we're a in a different faction, that's all
and honestly speaking, i hate ganking and being ganked, i always wanted to play on a PvE server where i can grind or do dailies happily without worrying about being ganked all of a sudden
but can't help it, as most of my friends are on pvp server and i have a guaranteed spot in my current raiding guild
but PvP server made me have to gank, because it's either me or them

I was doing the quests for the Argent Tournament. Specifically,
The Seer's Crystal
. I had just flown through Wintergrasp to get a quick hearth (since it was still on cooldown). After I killed the creature for the crystal, I suddenly get shot by arrows from a Tauren hunter. I haven't been playing WoW for a while (just started again with the patch), so my PvPing skills were a little rusty. I somehow beat him, and did a /sorry to his corpse.
When I went to turn in my quest, I found the same hunter back at the Tournament. I did a /wave, and he did a /sorry. We then both /saluted. I find it pretty cool how members of the opposite faction can be nice.
(By the way, I am on a PvE server...
I
am not very well geared, but I remember the hunter being full-out epic.
)
Hang on, I just remembered a different story.
I was in an Arathi Basin match, and we weren't doing so well. Basically all we owned was the Blacksmith. While looking around, I suddenly noticed a Tauren (why is it always a Tauren?) Shaman sitting across the water... using his
Romantic Picnic Basket
. A little while later a Gnome Death Knight and I road over, and decided to sit next to him. I used my
Romantic Picnic Basket
, and also my regular
Picnic Basket
. A short while later, the Shaman decided to get up and dance. Both of us danced to, shortly after joined by a few other Hordies, that I can't remember. It's strange events like these that make World of Warcraft fun.

Alliance moments of kindness are few and far between, but I do remember a Hunter helping me and a friend kill one of the Nagrand elites when I was in my mid 60s. The best part about it all was that my friend (the tank) didn't even notice we were getting helped, and wanted the gank the guy once he noticed the hunter.
Luckily, I was able to quickly mediate the situation.
But a reason the other faction doesn't suck? When they're not aggressive, they can be free buffs for Spellsteal when grinding in an area.
