So, I'm gearing for Naxx. What will I need before I'm ready? Anyone got a suggestion for a goal spell power / mana pool, or specific gear examples?
I'm sitting at exactly 1400 Spell Power unbuffed, 1624 with Inner Fire and Improved Divine Spirit, 17.8k mana unbuffed, and 16.7% chance to crit on Holy spells (5% coming from Holy Specialization).

all those stats sound like they should be enough for 10 man, even without imp. DS(which you should skip tbh) except for the crit, which is kinda low. but if i misunderstood that's just your spell crit, and your holy crit is 21%, what's fantastic, else you should really try to up your crit.

Beginning raids don't take much to get into and harder raids are easiest to gear up from beginning raids. I find
wow-heroes.com
is a decent way to tell if your gear is up to par with a certain raid. Assuming you geared up the right stats, it's pretty accurate.

Just an update -- I did two wings of Nax10 just now, with what I had listed above. (Yes, that was 16.7% on Holy spells, including talents). I healed the OT and party -- MT was dr00d, OT was Warrior, only other healer was a Holy Pally in all epics.
With raid buffs, I had 20k+ mana, 1700+ Spell Power, and 700+ mana regen outside the 5sr.
I never once was the cause for the several wipes we had -- it was either bad aggro switching by tanks, bad kiting by the hunter, whatever. But the blame never fell on me.
Naxx is definitely much easier than I thought it was. And in that one run I picked up 4 epics (only 3 slots in the end, though -- I won a roll on some shoulders, but then got the tier-set shoulders on a later boss, being the only one who could use them. Go figure >_> )
EDIT: Also, to point out -- my spec is a little funny, more for my preference than to actually raid. I picked up Imp DS because 9 times out of 10 I'm not pugging with a shammy for heroics, and I like that extra Spell Pow.
