I want a snake so bad, there is nothing more beautiful than snakes.
Look at this!
Flawless. I don't get why people dislike snakes, they're so beautiful.
This colorful one is amazing too!
Look at its horns!
It's like a dragon.
You're getting a spider.

Welp. I think I'm done watching YTPs for the night. My mind just got repeatedly destroyed.

Die in a fire. That's too far.
Damn it. No references gotten.

Hookers in disguise.
This is really weird. You have a jaundiced view of women. First of all, you ask why someone would be protective of their daughter when the culture regards women as sex objects, then you claim that any woman that has a mercenary view to relationships has a failure of a parent. Parenting must proceed on two fronts: encouraging women to view themselves as capable of fulfilment outside of relationships and encouraging guys to view women as people with opinions that can be valuable partners in a
non-erotic
relationship. Claiming that women remunerated for sex are the result of a failure of parenting in the first instance doesn't excuse the culture that treats women as amusing sexual ancillaries to society.
Edit: I switch my PC off when I go to sleep (fan is too noisy to sleep with it on). I also switch my TV off, since the standby light is too bright for me to sleep with it on. However, I usually go on in the morning to check forums and do a Rosetta Stone unit and leave it on while volunteering/attending lectures as it takes like 10 minutes to fully boot and I like to have it on while I eat dinner (eat when I get home, then start uni work).

<33 I love this.
The coins in, sex out analogy is in regards to the
guy's
mentality to the girl, not the other way around. I don't know how that can be made any clearer.

I really like this guy but he lives in Hong Kong. Why can't the world be smaller...
It's small enough. In fact, it's almost flat apparently.

That is true. Just like the girl's mentality of 'sex in, diamond ring out' POV, no?
I know you've mentioned this attitude before in relation to the term 'friendzone' and why you dislike it, but I'm disappointed in the constant and persistent references to male stupidity about sex and relationships when an equal proportion of females do equally stupid things and have equally stupid views. For every guy who's complaining about being friendzoned (as opposed to happily acknowledging that their female friend is, indeed, a friend), there is a girl out there who's complaining about why she can't find the right guy (as if we all exist in order to be perfect butlers / chauffeurs / bank accounts for the female race) or why he won't propose. No gender stereotype is beyond reproach in this respect.

Exactly.
Thanks for explaining that one gamer. I'm afraid my english isn't as sophisticated as to allow me to word it that well.
Anyhows, with all that happened yesterday (including a 10 hour power outage, lovely) I forgot to share the love with you all <3 so lets get started.
I HAVE A NEW JOB!
Well.......... not "now" but I better elaborate.
I wanted to wait till it was confirmed before starting to celebrate, but the day before yesterday my mentor at the chef academy called me and confirmed the good news. See, she says I'm VERY talented as a Chef, and I also am quite good at explaining the lessons to my fellow classmates.
She says that she's been observing me, and that when some of my classmates don't quite get a lesson, I often go out of my way to explain it in such a way that they get it right away (I'm FAR more eloquent in spanish than I am in english). So, seeing this, and factoring that due to my leg I wont be able to perform as a regular chef for quite some time, she's been pushing to get me a job at the Academy as a fellow instructor!
They don't need any more staff right now, but the academy has 2 types of classes, the senior class for adults which is a full blown specialized chef career as if it was a college, and the junior class for children which only teaches basic recipes, mostly sweets, and stuff like that. One of the Junior Class Instructors is getting sponsored to go work in FRANCE! in Lyon if I'm not mistaken.
Once she's gone, her post will be vacant, and so, I'll be the one replacing her =D
My mentor said that if I prove myself as an instructor, prove that I'm a dedicated worker, and if I prove to the board that I'm as good as she's vouched me to be, I can be promoted to Senior Class Instructor once a position becomes available.
The job itself is quite good, 5 hours a day, monday to saturday, I can do it sitting down, the pay is quite decent (its still not as high as what I made on that restaurant, but its still more than what I made back on that bank, and its quite a decent pay anyways), the job is fun, and it even comes with a nice perk, your own kids can take the junior class at a 50% discount
=D
The instructor I'm replacing will be leaving the place on May 15th, and I start the week after that.
Thank GOD T_T more good news, I'm so happy that things are working out at last, this past month has been the gloomiest month I've had in years, finally the dark night is over, and the dawn is coming.
So there you have it folks, the trials are not over though, I still have to save up a ton of money to pay for the medicine, to pay the other half of the surgery, plus I'll have to go to rehabilitation post-surgery, and depending on how that goes, I may or may not need a second surgery (lets hope not). Plus I'm not gonna be "hired" by the Chef Academy, currently I have no Chef Title, and all they have as proof of my skill is the word of my mentor (god bless her soul) and the word from my fellow classmates, so they're gonna put me under contract.
6 months, all of them paid of course, once they expire, if I'm good, they'll keep renewing the contract over and over. I'll have to put my tutoring skills to use, its one thing explaining stuff to an adult, and another to children. But I think I'm good with children, I shouldn't have much to worry about.
Its gonna feel weird being both an instructor AND a student on the same institute, but I'll get used to it XD

I want real hugs. The issue with being a hermit who doesn't know anyone is that I never get hugs.
I'd give you a real hug, but we live about 30.000 miles apart. =/ why can't the world be smaller?
