I have tailor/enchant.
Tailoring, as we all know, is crap right now. Im considering just dropping it for mining.
Tailoring now is 421. I can make frost bags, i figured there would be some gold to be made there, lo and behold, I would do FAR better on my server selling the mats.
So is that what people do for gold with my tradeskills? Create DE and sell mats? Any other moneymakers?

Any suggestions on the best greens to tailor in order for sharding spare cloth? I've not really looked since Wrath came out.
Thats what I want to know.
I too make a load of gold off of netherweave bags.. Pretty much the only reason i Havent dropped tailoring.

Also arnet the Bop Tailoring Sets Coming Soon? That might be one more reason for people to stop dropping tailoring and even pick it up.

I haven't heard anything about bop tailoring sets, nor would I expect them. More likely, we'll get new tailor-only spellthreads that offer similar benefits to the other professions (ring enchants, etc). So instead of just being cheaper than the boe spellthreads we can make, they would offer +88 spellpower instead of +50, for example. Or maybe we'll be able to pop sockets on our pants the way blacksmiths can to their gloves...
Either way, I genuinely expect an improvement to the profession. The QQing from tailors is not only loud, but it's actually quite fair.

Craft items for DE and Netherweave bags are my biggest money makers.
I probably profit about 400-500g a week easy from netherweave bags.
I assume you're talking about frostweave bags? Netherweave bags are BoP too so there is no bonus in using those over frostweave, unless you are selling dozens of netherweave a week for a lot cheaper than frostweave go for.

Neither Netherweave bags nor Frostweave bags are BoP, they are both BoE. The thing about NW Bags that makes them such a good money maker is the fact that they are CHEAP to make. I mean CHEAP. A stack or two of NW and some Rune Thread make a 16 slot bag (which sells for 10-20g depending on your realm economy). After running Sethekk Halls with some buddies (farming raven lord), I was able to make 10 NW bags... Sold them each for 15g a piece. Frostweave on the other hand requires a TON of frostweave and DUST. Right now, dust is NOT cheap. Going for 3g apiece on Arthas, the cost of the MATS for a Frostweave bag nearly exceed the profit from selling them (for 60-70g).
