[Suggestion] Loot data per patch

It seems to me that some loot data are incorrect due to having been changed in certain patches, and still retains old data which give us horribly wrong drop chances.
Would it be possible to tie loot, from the point of implementation and onwards, to patches? In other words, I'd like to see the ability to select and view
advanced loot details
before
,
during
or
after
a certain build, or during several builds. The default would of course be, as we currently see it,
during all builds
,

This is an interesting possibility, and it may be too late to put together a workable system here (since so many patches have already gone by). If you do see loot data that's not current, though, send an email to feedback@wowhead.com so we can try and correct it.

Wouldn't it be possible to see when data from users was submitted and cross check that with patch release dates, kinda like what was done with the comments? Or do you not store the dates that data was submitted?

I suspect that such information is not stored. Only the numbers that actually matter (in coherence with the system) are stored. Of course, I have no idea.
I'd like for it to be implemented "from this point on" if possible, as I stated in OP, but it's not the most important thing to me. It would just bring more accuracy of the database, because of the fact that many items have their droprates changed, usually in relation to complaints of low rates or expansions being released (old content being "buffed").

Well, you could split the droprate % column into 3. One for 2 Patches Ago, one for Last Patch and one for Current Patch.
This way, the problem of "too many patches have passed" would be fixed within 2 patch.

That would just be useless on most things. Only a few items have their droprates changed, and rarely in between every patch. Also, not including a total drop amount would decrease many items to an insignificant statistical number, because (most of) the old content is not farmed anymore.
