Just a heads up, you have Ignite marked for a 40% crit damage increase, which is correct in the description of the talent, but remember that this is taking 40% of the 150% crit so it's a 60% damage increase in total. Might want to clarify that a bit? =P
Other than that, it's well thought out and very informative.

Shatter is additive. All the +crit talents in the frost tree are additive. From gameplay, in PvE vs equal level mobs, I crit in excess of 50% overall. That's with just under 20% crit base. Against a frozen target, my crit rate with ice lance is certainly above 75%, perhaps above 85%. If Shatter was not additive, my crit against frozen targets would be closer to 60%.

I would have to definitely say experience / mods. The consistency with which you can critically strike someone with Shatter is too high to be otherwise.
An expansion on that logic: Note the talent says it does not decrease by half the opponent's "crit resistance", but that it increases yours by 50%. Therefore, it is either additive, meaning someone with 15% crit will end up with 65% crit, or it is multiplicative, meaning he will end up at a 23% crit. I used to be one of those no-crit mages; I'd crit far too often for it to be multiplicative.

I think a summary-style note on Scryers vs Aldor is appropriate, with a link to the wiki article.

You can either cast an extra fireball, or you can get lucky with Impact.
Sounds a lot like spell haste versus spell crit. Which would
you
rather have?

Just a little musing on my part ... I've heard a lot about how Fireball is better DPS than Arcane Missiles, which I found to be weird. Sure, no one can argue that Fireball has better DPM than Arcane Missiles, but DPS ??
So I did a little theorycrafting with Warcrafter, and tested with Arcane Missile with full arcane spec, and Fireball with full fire spec.
As I suspected, Arcane Missiles DPS edges out Fireballs by about 6% or so, and since both these spells scale with gear, it doesn't look like this figure will change.
Has anyone else done any testing on this?
