Use the "tab" key a lot. If it's thrash, it goes down pretty fast, and usually it doesn't really matter if you draw aggro after the first target is dead. Also, if you see the "High Threat" test over the mob, use tab again. You'll select another mob and you can continue to do dps. Easy as 1,2,ww

Honestly, as long as you're doing well on boss encounters don't sweat the other stuff. It's called trash for a reason. Our AoE attacks don't measure up to many other classes either in quality or efficiency. Whirlwind is very good, but with a cooldown that prevents it from being used more than a few times per trash-group pull. Compared to the PBAoE effects of Paladins, Death Knights, or god forbid, the AoE spells of other classes we just don't compete.
One tip is to burn your cooldowns if you know they'll have enough time to reset before the next boss. It helps quite a bit, and most Fury cooldowns are rather quick.

make a macro button /asssist tankname
and remember to set attack on assist in the settings
you can make two of them if you want for main tank and of tanks target.
works nicely for me, just watch out when tank is alternating targets for threat building.

Put yourself on follow during trash imo.
During LH waves I never could be arsed to run into the first 10-20 ghoul pack. I just did /dance next to the healers.
If a raidleader is even looking at thrash DPS instead of fights like patchwerk...
Trash is called trash for a reason you know.

Everyone here has it wrong. Trash is the golden metric by which all dps should be measured. Seriously.

For a Warrior, in ANY spec, Boss Fights are the parameter of how well you do. If you have a raid leader pointing to you sitting low on the overall charts, simply link him a Recount chart back of the last boss fight ;)
And also point out that 50% of the bosses in Naxxramas are melee-unfriendly. (Heigan the Unclean, Four Horsemen, Instructor Razuvious, Sapphiron, Kel'thuzad, Grobbulus to name a few off the top of my head!
warlock links recount him on top, you know, one that shows damage done of the overal run so far. Yea he's top and as a new guy he brags...a lot about it.
Last bos was patchy...
I link damagemeter
1)me: 3550DPS
2)another DPS warrior 3300DPS
...
11) mister lock 2200DPS
al I said in /raid was "Trash is trash, try following that on bosses then you'll have reason to brag", yes I brag a bit somtimes but at least I have a reason too :p.
Normaly I shouldnt do this but I was helping my ench. shamy to figur out what the best enchants were and stood under the tank on damage done in there I think, yes I'm a slacker on trash. was brwosing the shaman forums of elitist jerks.
Best tip given here is to just look how trash dies and dont bother.

When it comes to trash:
Whirlwind, Cleave, repeat
That is all.
