Don't judge yourself using combat dummy DPS. Using those excludes most of the aspects of benefiting from a 25-man group (buffs, cooldowns, etc.). Try jumping into a Vault of Archavon pug and see how you do there.

Be careful with VOA25 , you DPS probably will be lower in Nax25 than in VOA25...
VoA boss have much lower armor as far as I have seen... I do better damage in voa25 with pvp mut talent than in nax25 with full pve
Btw I consider myself a good geared rogue, 3600 ap 33% crit 370 hit 10% haste and some arpen, Im useing webbed death and sinister rev. and with not much concentration (messing up the rotation here and there) and only 3 min fight I have done ~2400 dps on the boss dummy...(was just testing something else) my usual dps in nax 25 fully buffed is around ~4500 - 4600 on bosses, expect tahdius and loatheb, Im in the upper 6k range there (damn fury warriors always beat me there :D)

Dummy dps is about half of what I pull in 25 mans.

Dummies are only good for one thing. Practicing your rotations. They are not a valid display of your dps.

If you're patient enough to do enough damage to be a decent sample, they can also be used to compare your relative DPS. Sit and do at least 500K damage on the dummy, switch gear, wait for CDs, then repeat. Not as efficient as the spreadsheet, but apparently there are still people out there who can't/won't use one.
I disagree. You need all your raid buffs active in order to properly weigh dps. As you change gear or rotation, dps might vary differently according to your stats. Also, some talents will only be active in raids (turn the tables).
