Won't call you a noob lol, QQ is crying apparently. Makes no sense to me, T.T looks better. Also, funny thing is Retardin can kill u for the duration of HoJ ,so stop spreading lies
Amen. Divine Storm and Crusader Strike while I'm sitting there brain dead eats me alive. Hammer of Wrath after and I'm usually dead.

You guys are so lame.....
Repentance is a 1 minute cd. HoJ is a 30 second cd. So, say a ret pally has to catch up.
Repentance blown, in melee range, Judge, HoJ so they don't escape, 6 seconds of blissful nuking, HoJ is now up, you are free to do whatever, stun, fear, cyclone, root, snare, slow.
On stun, I HoF, another 25 second cd. On fear, I have to trinket or bubble, 2 minute, or 5 minute cd.
At this point my HoJ is about off cd if I used my bubble. Now I have 2 cd's, trinket, bubble, or HoF depending on the situation, and my HoJ.
Now, if your healer isn't being cc'd or a retard, you have easily survived all my cd's. These cd's also depend on if I have a healer as well. With healer, I will blow AW after all your OS buttons. Without a healer, only if I survive thru 30 seconds after my bubble.
At this point, I'm pretty useless until my cd's come off again. At which point it comes down to stun the nuker, or stun the healer? If the healer has HoT's, it probably won't matter much unless he's bad at keeping them up.
Good healer>ret pally every time. It takes very well timed cc for a ret pally to have a sliver of a chance at killing an enemy backed by a skilled healer.

As ghostcrawler once wisely said;
"Into the ground, baby!"
I hope retardins/deathknoobs/argayne mages/feralol gets their burst nerfed in 3.1

Ain't that video a bit old? There were some patches from this time. And it feels just like a compilation of best moments - I didn't see many attempts to cc nor anything. Nor any waiting for cooldowns, just all-time wings. Plus I doubt anyone was wearing anything resembling resilience gear.
I don't have many problems cleaning the floor with retadin <priest, with PvP spec and PvP equip on>... It can and will go wrong sometimes, but that's not any sign of OPness.
Anyway, I agree there's too much burst damage in PvP. This is not just about rets. How can you fix PvP without making their dps suffer in PvE? Maybe an aura (similar to Essence of Wintergrasp) that would flatly reduce damage/healing done in BGs or arenas.

Alot of people here I see get the point: PvP is given to Paladins. Blizz just hand them the auto play button, for Christ's sake. Trinket out of Repentance for what? They figure a way over to you and WHAM. Trinket's on cd, you're HoJ'd, and 4 secs in you're dead. Even if you DO manage to kite them a bit, they bubble and start healing. Just like restarting the match, except trinket's on cd, you're 1/2 way to OOM, and most likely you popped a cd, so you have to wait on it. Not like you'll live to do it again though.

I saw red wings, meaning AW and AP trinket, in order to get 3.5-4k crits. The occasional lucky 5-6k crit. I know for a fact, with pretty mellow gear, that a holy paladin using FoL(the smallest hitting heal), can hit normally for 3k, and crit for 5k in pvp gear.
Not to mention hw eas wearing T7.5/T7 in order to get those crits while swinging Death's Bite around.
Other key points to note.
-Not one heal to any of those targets.
-every one of them was a NON PLATE WEARER, and running away as noobily as they could.
-he was never once stunned or cc'd.
-every fight was 1v1, and every one of them was running, and not attacking. Maybe something about wearing greens, and seeing a full tier pally coming at them?
LawL! QQ more please. Not only was he wearing really good DPS gear, but he wasn't even doing a huge amount of burst. Have you looked at mage video's? Even feral druid video's?
I do more burst with my feral druid while berzerking, and in heroic/savage gear.
