Rolled a druid, Feral DPS questions

So I finally bit the bullet and rolled a druid (
armory
).
In light of me already having an Elemental Shaman, I decided to go with feral dps rather than boomkin (not a huge fan of levelling in heal spec, I prefer levelling through questing). My questions mostly relate to stat importance. A lot has changed since I rolled my last druid.
My questions are:
While levelling, what priority order should I be giving the different stats?
How will this change when I reach 80? I'm particularly confused between the importance of hit rating and expertise.
As far as equipping goes, I spose weapon speeds don't matter, just the stats and dps (seeing as kitty has a flat 1 swing per second)?
Does haste increase the attack speed of cat form?
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
PS. I did take a look at the sticky, but I found up-to-date information was difficult to find.
EDIT: One last question: Are there a lot off off-hand items aimed at feral DPS?

1. Agility, Strenght, Stamina
2.
-Hit is your 1st priority as dps.
-Expertise is a nice tank stat.
3. Yep
4. Yep.
Not at all, go for 2H mace or Staves.

Short and sweet, I like it!
Thanks for the answers.

Addendum:
#1 -> First priority at lvl 80 for maximum DPS is to reach the
hit cap
, which is
8%
, or
~256 hit rating
, and also the
expertise cap
for dodge, which is
6.5%
, or
26 expertise skill
(you need either 208 expertise rating or
128 expertise rating
, depending on having the
Primal Precision 2/2
talent);
#2 -> You can also train to use
Polearms
, and all of them are valid feral DPS alternatives to Maces and Staves.

Woah! Slow down. He's 25.
Here's what you need to know for gear.
1-74 - Stack agil. Agil is your dps builder. Strength is still good tho, as it gives a lot of AP, but agil is better.
75-80 - Stack strength. Once you pick up savage roar, strength is better than agility 99% of the time.
Expertise>hit rating. But you want both. Get above 5% hit, and 4% expertise, and you are good to start raiding.

So all that you said was previously said as well. This is very educational!
Considering his questions were all related to gear available only in the late 70s and mostly at level 80... I think everything that's been mentioned here is 100% valid and right to the point of
windstrum
's questions.

No, I clarified. At sub level 75, agility is better than strength.
And for a feral druid, expertise is just as good or better than hit rating. Although you may get a resisted growl if you aren't hit capped for desired target while tanking.
They are advising him/her mostly on level 80 guidelines. I mainly clarified kramp's statement.

lol thanks everyone, I'm listening to all advice. I'm only level 25 now but I'll be in Northrend in no time. I've been paying attention to everyone's comments.
Edited: redundancy.
