Spell Crit Formula?

I've been pouring over all the technical information I can locate on the formula to derive the spell critical strike chance for a character. I have been through the sticky post on this forum, have read and re-read the technical information on wowwiki, and have also thoroughly looked at the information provided at elitistjerks. So far, I have not found a single correct formula to calculate the spell critical chance. The reason I'm having issues is because I can only find one of two things: a formula to derive crit from intellect, or aformula to derive crit from crit rating. Unfortunately, as we know, crit is derived from both intellect and crit rating. So... to simplify, I desire the formula to derive crit chance from both intellect and crit rating, please.

WoWWiki - Spell Critical Strike
Some of the info is outdated and there's more on the discussion page.
Crit% = Base Crit% + Crit% from Int + Crit% from Crit Rating

I didn't make myself clear enough: Wrong, wrong, outdated and wrong. The information gethered from thse sources does not mesh with in game information. I have tested the formulas i've found using in game stats and it continuously gives me a different critical strike chance than what my character actually has! So, try again....

well, in what way is it wrong? let's see your working out and maybe we can suggest what the problem might be.
i've not heard of any changes which might cause this issue.

Apologies all around, I was unduely terse and left out important information. I have been to EJ as I mentioned in my op and that is the very post from which i hoped to learn the most. So, here goes:
EJ lists the int per 1% crit as 166.667, and the crit rating per 1% as 45.906. my character currently has, for example 740 intellect, which should yield 4.4%, and Crit rating of 67 which should yield 1.46%, and together bring me to 5.8-5.9% However, my ingame critical strike chance is 7.89%
I'm at a loss. I've tried determining if there is a fixed added value like there was at 70, but everytime i change the numbers i get a different value, so that doesn't seem to work.

To my eternal shame after more number crunching and trying the old level 70 constant (1.701 for warlocks, added after the two seperate percents are derived from int and crit rating) i have found that in fact this constant works properly. How/when I 'learned' different is an embarassing mystery to me. Thanks for the point in the right direction.
