Blacksmithing costs A LOT to level. Either that or entirely too much time to gather all the ore yourself. I did it once on my prot war, i'll never go blacksmithing on any other toon again. Especially now that basically every good BS plan is BOE, its just not worth it. Maybe back in last expansion when all the good plans were BOP.
Enchanting is one of those "nice to have" proffesions, but doesnt really get you anything that you cant just have some other enchanter do for you. Usually every guild will have someone with a maxed out enchanter already that will enchant things for you at no cost as long as you bring them the mats.
Enchanting will get you ring enchants.
Blacksmithing will get you the ability to add sockets to gear.
Inscription will get you the best shoulder enchants in game.
Other than that, everything else they give you is more easily obtained by just taking the mats for what you want to some other poor sap that decided to level that proffesion.
Personally i'd say go mining to compliment your JC proffesion.
