I just got to 80 and I am using a FG/Ember build. I had a lot of luck leveling as SiLI/Fg and FG/Ember just seemed easy.
Because of where I live latency is a pretty big issue so complicated affliction rotations seemed like a bad idea..
I am in quest greens/blues, one epic wand.
All unbuffed :
My Spellpower is 1017
Hit 235
crit chance 17.5
Haste 154
I know this is pretty crap, what should i focus on first? I will probably be just runnin heroics and super easy raids for a long time due to lag.. all pug..
The stickies say stack hit until capped, seeing as I am not raiding yet does that change anything? or just sacrifice all for hit?
Sorry, I read the stickies but gearing has always seemed complicated to me.
THanks.

Even for heroics you should stack hit first, it's just a lower hit-cap (6%).

1000 spellpower is not very good. Maybe you should run som normal instances to get some drops, you should also get some quest blues. I hade 1700 spellpower or something when I dinged 80, so it should be easy for you to buff up that aspect of your game.

I'm guessing he means without Fel Armor, hit is indeed the most important stat when you start doing hc's and raids, I've seen other Warlocks with plenty more sp and crit who have far lower dps then me because of a lack of hit.
