At themoment I am using the
Staff Of Trickery
. I started out using
Mongoose
on it. I noticed that it procs
maybe
once every 7-10 mobs. Granted, 120 AGI is very sexy. But the sheer fact that it procs very unreliably made me replace it with
Major Agility
. In my opinion, the absolute constant 35 AGI is far superior to the very occasional and unreliable 120 AGI, even if it a much larger jump in AGI.
Am I an idiot? I'm almost always the MT, whether in heroics dungeons, or 10-man raids (haven't gotten to do much of those, and NO 25-mans). If I'm not MT'ing, I can usually be found OT'ing. And in rare occasions, I am just DPS. So I ask again: am I an idiot for not going with Mongoose? I would really like some opinions and reasons behind those opinions. Or even some hard numbers.
Sound off druids!

"One of the better proc rates for enchants."
As stated in my previous post, it only seems to proc
once
every 6-7 mobs.
I'm asking whether that is worth it over the constant +35 AGI which never goes away, or should I
really
be using Mongoose?
This question is bugging the hell out of me because I hate being sub-par.

I guess I hadn't thought about swipe and the fact that it hits multiple mobs and I'm almost ALWAYS tanking 2-3 and sometimes as many as 6-8 mobs. So am I correct in thinking that each swing of swipe (that does hit multiple mobs) counts as a chance to proc? As in a Swipe that hits 4 mobs gives me 4 chances to proc Mongoose? Or am I wrong on that one too?

I have now gone ahead and replaced my +35 AGI with Mongoose. Thank you so much for your input, carn. You've been very helpful.
