**newb warning and a rambling**
I leveled my Rogue into the 30's but got tired of constant deaths and lack of AoE. A friend is having a great time with his Fury warrior, so I started up a Draenei warrior of my own.
Currently level 21, and having lots of fun with her. Being able to tank 3-4 mobs at once is a nice change from the 1-2 that my Rogue could barely do. My build is a mess, but I am just enjoying the adventure so far. I can worry about the build later, once I decide what I actually want to do.
Rend is my favorite attack right now. Charge, Sunder, Rend, Thunderclap, change to the next target, repeat. Rend is just sweet sweet damage, I just wish that it was stackable.
I havent used Hamstring, Revenge, Mocking Blow, Disarm, or Cleave yet. I just picked up the Cleave, so I'll hopefully get to test that out tonight.
I have the feeling that I might be missing something by not using Disarm, but I was told early that it doesn't work on beasts and doesn't affect damage of humanoids, it was a strictly PVP skill.
I just got DualWield as well, but I am not that interested in it. Sword and board seems to be the way to go. More damage, but penalty to hit? I whiff enough as it is, why would I want to miss more?
Any thoughts or comments on what I am doing so far?

I would suggest you either level with dual wielding or with a twohander, at least for the time being. Sword and board might look good at first, but it is simply too slow at killing things, at least until you reach the higher levels and get access to certain abilities and talents that help a lot.

I am having a blast with my 31 Warrior. He seems to level pretty fast. I went down in the crypts in Duskwood at around 27 or 28 and had no problems. Gobs and gobs of closely packed level 27-29 mobs.
I stay in Defensive mode, so I don't use Charge. My typical attacks are Rend + Revenge/HS when available. Revenge is amazing and with ~ 27% avoidance, it pops quite frequently.
I am mostly Arms + DW at this point. Got a great deal on a 25 blue axe and then got a nice blue axe reward from a quest in Duskwood.
I am using 2H as needed to keep skill up, but haven't found a cheap 2H at this point that beats my axes.
I do switch out the off hand axe for a shield regularly when I have to beat on casters.
Trying to get the hang of tanking when I do get the opportunity to group with someone.

Just to point out 3/3 Armored to the Teeth is really useless at low levels since your armor levels aren't high enough to give decent Attack Power for those three points.
Not exactly. The armor is indeed much lower, but a given amount of attack power is much rarer and more powerful. The main problem is that you are using mail armor until level 40, which reduces the armor value further and leaves the talent sub-par. From level 40 I would definitely recommend taking the talent.

I did not realize that 2h was a seperate skill. I had been flipping from axe to mace and back to keep those up. Guess I will need to work on 2h and swords tonight.
When Dual Wielding, does both weapons have a chance to level up?
You have a point about it being a little slow killing things, especially since my Rogue could kill most things in 3-4 hits. But I really havent noticed a difference so far, it has been that much fun.
I am still waiting for my first real team as a warrior. I have tanked before in CoX and DAoC, but not in WoW. It ought to be interesting...
Does the bleed from Rend do a good job of maintaining aggro?

Revenge has very good damage now. I would consider staying in defensive stance and use revenge every time it's up (which will be alot). You loose 10% damage, but I *believe* that revenge would make it up at this point (when you already have limited special abilities). At 40 you will get shield bash, an awesome talent now. Shield bash and revenge to your hearts content. You will level just as fast or faster than 2-h or dw warriors.

spoiler alert, but rend will start to suck more and more as you level (unless you go arms).

Thanks for the info about Rend, but so far it seems to be my favorite attack. As the mobs health keeps increasing, I can see that it be lose its values.
Does bleeds generate aggro on each tick?
Cleave is very nice, but it seems to eat through Rage way to quickly. I like it though. Is this a "must use" or "nice to use when you have lots of Rage" power?
As for Sunder, even though I include in my rotation, I really don't notice the difference. Does it make it easier to hit them, cause them to take more damage, or both?
