Since we are talking about facts let me tell you this one. Even with keybindings you cant hit 2 different keys
simultaneously
. No matter your skillz, something will be hit before the other.
Yes it's true you can't press two buttons at the same time. You can but with the GCD it wouldn't matter much anyways, but guess what you CAN do
simultaneously
. Hold down mouse 2 to rotate the screen or the camera or w/e and press a button. Try doing that. Rotate the camera and click an ability... oh wait you
can't
do them at the same time.
You have 10 fingers. 5 of them are on your mouse. This leaves 5 for keybinds. At best your thumb is only used to hit the space bar, and chances are this still the jump button (super useful jumoing is). That leaves 4 fingers. Your middle finger is controling forward/backward motion and isnt really available for keybindings either. Down to 3 now.
your ring finger has maybe 3 buttons within easy reach. Not alot you can do with that. So that mostly leaves your index and pinky to do all the work. Chances are the pinky will be pressing the alt/ctrl/shift buttons so most of the keybinding work is being done by the index finger.
Thats pretty much 1 finger doing 90% of the work.
You couldn't be more wrong. You're just speaking out of ignorance and jumping to conclusions. Is it so hard to fathom that maybe just maybe fingers have the capability to reach out of the tiny area you imagined? Pressing W? Press 2 with your ring finger, I promise it isn't hard.
Beyond that, did you know that you can use your mouse to do more than click and rotate the camera? That's right! Hold mouse 1 and 2 down at the same time. You can move and turn on a dime with much more control than you can with the key board. Guess what that does! Yup, you can press 1,2,3,4,5,6 and any shift/ctrl variants of those all you want cause you don't have to move with your keyboard. But you, as a clicker, can't afford to move with the mouse because if you did... well you couldn't click a thing.
And yeah, totally, everyone who uses bindings really only uses their index finger...
This doesn't just apply to tanking either the same principle holds true though out all aspects of game play. Try healing w/o key binds. By the time you click on the person's raid frame and move your mouse down to the icon to cast I guarantee another healer will have already gotten that heal and you're just wasting mana going slow as hell with your mouse flying across the screen. I know this thread is specifically for tanking, but the point is that all aspects of this game are made easier through keybindings.
But regardless, I'm growing bored with this argument. I honestly couldn't care less how you play or what you think is better. I guarantee 99% of the serious WoW community and 100% of the serious WoW PvPers will agree that binding > clicking. I shouldn't have to explain it down to the finest detail, including minor situations in which being able to use abilities while doing something else with the mouse (targeting, moving, rotating camera, etc) is better than relying on the mouse to do it all. But since you're extreme pro deluxe and have cleared 25 man naxx and OS with 0 drakes up I'll just let you continue to spread the filth that makes for some of the worst WoW players I've played with.

Next topic-"can you play WoW at all by solely using the mouse?"
LAWL! Don't start that.
By your guys's definition, using any keybind what so ever is against the rules here. This means that, oh yeah, a s d w are now out of the equation for clickers. Yet another problem.
Let me redefine this, so that everyone understands the main concept of what this arguement SHOULD be about.
Negating 1-4(and maybe 5 for some uber leet people that have flexible fingers) that my happy fingers can easily access, and WoW UI already binds to keys, can a clicker be a good tank?
Answer-Yes. And just as effectively as the guy that keybinds 10-15 spells to his keyboard.
At the same time, a tank can still tank effectively under conditions that a tank should be in, assuming the group isn't filled with a bunch of noobs. You can still, set marks, select a targets, and hold aggro on those targets assuming that rogue is actually attacking your target, the hunter isn't opening with multi shot, etc, etc, etc.... You can even still pull said target off the (insert class) or healer by just clicking. Keybinders have issues with being good at this skill as well. It's learned, and reflex is still reflex whether you click or smash.
Using accessible keybinds only, and not going fancy with binding q e r f v and c as well, you can still do the job, and do it well.
Inefficiency has nothing to do with whether or not it's possible to be a good tank by clicking.

Why is this still being argued lol. Everyone's trying to convince Parrazell that keybinding is better, and its obvious he won't change his mind. Some people are just used to different setups. I have a friend that plays all first person shooters with "e" "s" "f" "c" as his movement keys..... yea you read that right. It makes almost no logical sense but he makes it work and is pretty good at FPS games as well. Anyways, In the end it doesn't matter, as PvE stuff doesn't require super fast reaction time.
