No, You are not the only good DK around!
short answer: I am a good DK too.
Long Answer: define "GOOD DK", which talents is ONLY for tank and which is ONLY for DPS? It is not a question of good or poor. It is their own style.. game is focus bringing fun into players. and you will survive..^^

Simply put, 90% of deathknights you see are lolretpallies, lolfurywarriors, lolrogues, and lolhuntards who have rerolled, and still cant figure out what the hell they're doing.

Not to toot my horn TOO much (Toot, toot) but why does it seem like I'm the only decent DK on my server?
I saw a blood DK yesterday dual wielding. FULL blood.
I had a DK tell me that my DPS was too low (I was tanking...) compared to his MASSIVE 2.2k DPS on Patchwerk.
I see DPS DK's with tank talents, Tank DK's without tanking talents, DK's with spell gear.
What the hell is going on? Have Deathtards become the new Huntards?
Seriously guys, stop making us look bad.
/end.
This is, in all fairness, the same question a lot of people have had to ask at one time or another. Especially Rogues and Paladins.

well said dude, and you forgot to add in lolmages too,
Nah, most of the lolmages are still lolmages, because mages got some sick buffs with wotlk.
Maybe the lolwarlocks though.

For me, its pretty simple.
I am speccing mostly in Blood, but some in Unholy and some in Frost, so i get the extra damage and healing to my Death Coil and Obliterate doesn't use up the diseases on the target when used.
I just pretty much do this rotation: (i am sure i am doing something wrong, but it works great for me)
Icy Touch - Plague Strike - Heart Strike - Heart Strike - Obliterate - Death Coil - Death Coil
Rinse and repeat if its an elite/boss, but i tend to use Death Strike when fighting Bosses and hard elites for the added healing to put the pressure off of the healer, so they can concentrate on the tank or when i am low on health.
When fighting multiple mobs, i do the following:
Icy Touch - Plague Strike - Pestilence - Death and Decay - Heart Strike - Obliterate - Death Coil
I am sure its not 100% perfect, but it works fine for me, i am sure when i get to Northrend, i will see how things go and if i have trouble, i will change my rotation a little bit, but i will find out in 2 levels (currently level 66)

I hate people who are so judgemental of other people's playstyle choices. Yes, they may not do as much damage as you, but unless you've known them since level 55, and played exactly the same time and gotten exactly the same gear, why on earth would they be the same as you?
Yes, there are and will always be, under performing players who just don't get it but really, is there a need to take the #$%^ outta them?

im sorry but this is such backwards thinking there is a difference between playing the way you want and playing the class like its another such as a Dk stacking mp5 intel and spell power plate. yes it has some str on it and it is plate but that dosent mean you should use it. At the least learn a little about how your stats and class works. 2 months before wrath hit i had just hit 80 and had epics on my mind i looked around and saw the easy way of getting them..BG epics i picked up full s2 with in the first 3 weeks of me being 80 then my guild invites me to my first kara run(of witch they had on farm) when i got their i had never heard of recount so i had no clue what my dps was. 3 bosses into the raid i was sooo bad that they asked me kindly if they could replace me because of my dps, i wasent shocked and for the better of the guild i left the raid and found my way to theys forums since then my dps is a whole hell of a lot better than what it was i know what talents to take to get that extra little dps, i now have 2 lvl 80s and am almost to naxx on farm on my dk (droped my hunter sorta only get on him to JC and mine as my profs are still low on my dk other than skinning and im not waisting my time skinning to sell my borean leather for 9g a stack.)
look my point is take the time to learn a little about your class and how it works before just jumping into the mix and making both your self and some times your friends look like fools that no1 will raid with.
sorry for the wall of text.

It's hardly backwards thinking to cut people some slack and not act like a jerk! I wasn't touching on the issues of people completely missing the point (for example, wearing +Spellpower plate) but you really don't need to @#$%^ about them.
Personally, if I run across an underperforming play, I'll /w them to ask if they want advice on how to do better, or give them resources that they can use. Let's not forget, not everyone has Recount installed to monitor how well they're doing, they might not even be aware of how much harder they're making it.
So yeah, my point isn't "forgive all sins" it's don't be a jerk to people.
