Does impurity effect Death Coil?

Yep. It also effects your diseases, Death and Decay, and anything that doesn't use weapons as is source.
Best talent in a DK's arsenal to be honest. I see a nerf coming soon. :(

Death coil has a 25% APC (attack power coefficient). That means it gets 25% of your attack power as bonus damage.
Impurity increases -that amount- by 25%. 25% of 25% is 6.25%. So, 5 points in impurity is only giving you a little over 6% more bonus damage from attack power to death coil. Death coil is also (with the exception of diseases) our highest coefficient spell, everything else gets less benefit. I'm not entirely sure how much diseases get, I would assume 100% which would make impurity very good for them, but most spells receive less than 10% of our attack power as bonus damage.
Point for point, you actually get more benefit out of bladed armor than you do out of impurity, again with our two damage-dealing diseases being the only exception.
