Hmm...
As in the /assist command and the conditional?
/assist targets your target's target. For example, You're targeting a tank. The tank is targeting Illidan Stormrage. If you target the tank and use /assist, it will target Illidan Stormrage for you. Good for macros.
is a coditional for macros. It works if your target is friendly. One such use I can think of is this;
/cast Arcane Intellect; Pyroblast
This will cast Arcane Intellect on your target if it is friendly, or Pyroblast if it's not.
The opposite conditional of is .

The opposite conditional of is .
Also, any valid conditional can be prefixed with "no" to negate it, so
is equivalent to
, and
is equivalent to
.

Focus
his healer, then use a macro like:
/cast Earth Shock
You can also automate that to a certain extent. The following will cast Earth Shock on the focus if possible (alive and harmful), otherwise cast it on your target:
/cast [] Earth Shock
In that example, the empty brackets tell the system to evaluate the default conditions, meaning reset back to target if the first evaluation fails. Also,
exists
and
nodead
are superfluous here because
harm
implies them (I've included them for the logic).

yesh easily. conditionals just tell it where or how to define a valid target before trying to cast the spell. There's really only about 3 types of conditonals.
Target: where to cast it. Modifier: how the macro is activated or what section of the macro to run. Status: what defines a valid target.
that's a quick description anyway. You don't need all types of conditionals in a macro just what you need.
