Well firstly, as one enhancement shammy to another, we (currently) are weak in PvP (that is until you get your Feral Spirits, then you're gonna be unstoppable for 45 sec every 3 minutes. ^-^).
But don't let it get to you. There is no other way to learn PvP then practice.
You will be targeted first so grow eyes in the back of your freakin' head. Don't be afraid to go after people who're already low on health. It's an battleground, it's either you or them.
Here's some (other) tips and how I do it:
Spec:
Something like this:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hZ0xgcoxzA0oImproved Ghost Wolf is invaluable in PvP as it can get you to an opponent quickly and get you out of trouble pretty fast too. (if you're lucky :D)
Gear:
Eh, AGI/STR, STA and INT all the way I believe. Also, Dual Wield. DO IT. Pop Windfury Weapon on both and watch the opponents fall. PvP is too bursty now-a-days to be running around with a shield IMO.
Skill & Totems:
Basically I don't use any other totem then
Tremor,
Earthbind and
Grounding Totem. There is simply not enough time to drop 4 different totems.
If your opponent is a caster then Earth Shock and Grounding Totem is the way to go. Keep in mind your cooldowns too. Earthbind keeps them from running away.
If your opponent is a Lock or anyone else that Fears, drop Tremor totem and nuke the LOCK not his pet.
Opponent heading your way? Frost Shock/Flame Shock and Earthbind, slow him down as much as possible so that you can prepare yourself or for allies to arrive.
As previous posters said, you have got to get insight in the game.
As for the people who yell and *!@#$, ignore them. They didn't start up the game know everything so they can just shut their traps. >:] I've prolly forgotten a ton of usefull tips but this will have to do. I'm only level 66 myself so I have alot to learn too. What I'm 100% sure of is that Shamans are underestimated, sure we don't have any fancy plate gear and we might not do alot of burst damage all the time but we WILL mess you up in one way or another.
Ps. Long post is long. :x
