I don't know about forcing the 2h, but they've made 2h an option with KM now. They did buff necrosis by double, which still favors DW since 2h will use up a lot of its auto attacks to do Rune Strike (which was nerfed).
I did have the same thoughts as you. Losing Impurity and desecration from the 32/39 build, getting Tundra Stalker should give at least that lost damage back, if not more.
The only thing I don't like is the lack of DPS stuff in the middle of the tree. Icy Talons really favors the DW style over 2h, so I feel bad putting points into it for a 2h build. I wish there were more choices. Endless Winter/ Chillblains is PvP-centric, of no use in PvE (or little).
The points I am looking at in Morbidity seem not quite so useful. We have FS as our runic dump, so not caring about DC, we have to ask how often we'll be using D&D since we have HB for AoE. It's only changing the cooldown, not affecting the damage of D&D (if they kept the D&D glyph the same, I wouldn't even be making this point, the cower was really helpful in instances to keep incoming trash damage down on the tank).
Would taking those 4 points out (or even all 6 from Unholy) benefit us elsewhere?
Example:
Right now, on my DK, 3/5 in bladed armor (what you have in your build) would amount to 239 Attack power. If we were to max it and put 1 point in unbreakable armor, that would come to 159 more AP all the time, and the once per minute (once per fight) use of UA for a boost of 10% STR (about 160 more AP), and an increase of another 100 AP from bladed armor due to othe 25% more armor given.
That's just 3 points.
I'm thinking of relative value of single talent points right now and I don't have my thoughts fully formed as of yet.
