Just seems like wasted area now.... except for my alts.
Well it served one purpose in the WoW Gaming World: Get your alt from level ## to level ## in ___ time.

I just use a banking alt..Problem solved. ;) With instant mail between your own toons it's a no brainer. My favorite city is Ironforge on the Alliance side and Thunder Bluff and/or Silvermoon on Horde. The banks and AHs are close with mailbox right in front.

My lag is horrible enough... 2 FPS in dalaran, 4 in Shat, and about 13 in any other city. northrend i have about 15, and the best i ever get is around 30 in a deserted area just walking around :(

Can u imagine how deserted SW/Org would be if no one ever had to go back there for training or to use the AH.
They would be as bad as Exodar/Silvermoon, and the only reason people go there is for Jewelcrafting. Plus it would already add to the Mass lag that is Dalaran.

As for AH's in Dalaran I think that is a good idea, maybe time to add a neutral AH in Shatt to keep things lively there.
That certainly would add to the appeal since it's also a portal city. But without enough people actually looking at the shared AH it's bound to be underused, and the fees are so huge that most of the AH-focussed traders will likely avoid it.
