I have used both questhelper & carbonite, they pale in comparison to james guides.
questhelper and carbonite won't take into account quests that are started by item drops.
It' wont take into account things like :
"Now that you have done these three quests, there now will be five more quest available in a city in the next state that are performed in this area your in right now. Because we have set our hearth to the innkeeper behind us down the road, head straight to City A and collect them, then hearth back to the Innkeeper and keep questing here."
Instead questhelper and carbonite will have you running all over the place and re-tracing your steps alot.
They have no forwarding planning and optmisation of yet to be picked up quests.
If your objective is to level as fast as possible with minimal re-tracing of your steps then none of those mods will do better than the guides james at wow-pro creates for free :
alliance
Jame's Alliance Leveling Guide - Borean Tundra (70-72)
Jame's Alliance Leveling Guide - Howling Fjord (72-74)
Jame's Alliance Leveling Guide - Dragonblight (74-75)
horde
Jame's Horde Leveling Guide - Howling Fjord (70-72)
Jame's Horde Leveling Guide - Borean Tundra (72-74)
Jame's Horde Leveling Guide - Dragonblight (74-75)
You are better off just installing tomtom, nquestlog(or questFu) and mobmap. and working off a second screen to read the guides james creates.
But if you want a mod to bring these guides into the game, then tekhub has created a mod that allows you to swap in different guides from different people. It's called tourguide.
But if your idea is to casually drift through the quests without having to think then you don;t really need these mods or any guides.... the quest log text is fairly obvious.
I've been healing ever since I hit 70 as a holy priest (and went disc healing after 3.0) and I don't use healbots. You know what I use to raid? My own goddamn sense of judgement, which seems to be a rare commidity among players these days.
Offtopic, but
clique and grid don't make decisions for you
. Healbot does.
People that make these comments haven't used clique and grid together are the same as healbot.
Using clique is no different to making mouseover macros for all your spells.
Before you spout off comments like that i suggest you actually use clique and grid, the main reason people use healbot and don't bother to use clique & grid is because they fail at healing and using addons with more than five options in the config screen.
Oh and by the way, clique is just a mod that assigns custom actions to mouse and keyboard combos...so any class can use it since there is a section for assigning offensive actions on enemy unitframes. kkthxbye

i dont like the maps on it though, how they are all overlapped is really annoying and wierd
If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, just turn off the little green button above your quest list that says "track all objectives" then it will only show you the maps for the quest objective you have selected.

Um... what the hell healbot have you used? Maybe I have a different healbot, but the one I use is just a party/raid frame with healing spells applied to each type of click (left click, right click, middle button, button 4, modifiers, etc). It doesn't do anything for me, it merely speeds heal targeting and lets me keep my actionbars less cluttered. It's also got an assload of options.

This kinda got off topic and out of hand.
It can all be summed up basically by saying everyone plays for different reasons, at different skill levels, and different levels of dedication. Some players can't remember a boss fight to save their life because they have other things stored in their heads.
I use CarboniteQuest because I want to level fast. I don't play the game mainly for the lore or the quest depth. I like to do the end game content, and I enjoy the help in getting there.
I also use Healbot for my Priest. Healbot is a raidframe, with easy to set up heal macros. Thats all there is to it. Makes it easy to keep track of player health, debuffs, buff timers, etc. I'd rather not be twitching like a machine to keep everyone alive, and even with the help of my addons, there are still really intense moments.
The wide audience of WoW is what makes it continually appealing. Without noobs, you would have nobody to be superior to.
