I don't know if it's just my DVD drive but I'm at 87% and it's been at least a half hour. And as soon as that's finished I can start downloading the patch...

I am having issues with a file called "Localization.xml" being found. Trying to figure it out, but it's starting to irritate me.... my gf is sitting right next to me making a Death Knight... ARRGGGHHH!
Btw, running the repair utility does NOT work.

Well, I'm now copying the data on the DVD to a folder on my desktop to try installing from there... we'll see how that goes. =/

Okay, copying the files failed, but I followed the link from Curse and got the installer started within a minute. So for anybody having similar problems, this seems to be the way to go. Good luck!

I just don't understand blizzard's decision to use dvd rom. Is WoTLK that much bigger than TBC? From the downloaded file it looks to be only 1.9 GB large. Three CD-Roms at max, yet they decide to implement something a lot of people can't even read. And yes, I have a dvd reader, I did all the steps mentioned in this thread, and it still won't read. So now I gotta wait another 1-2 hour for the download to finish. This is just ridiculous.
