I see readiness as sort of an "OH SH*T" button. Say a trap is resisted or broken, and one of the hardest hitting mobs in the instance is bearing down on you. Pop readiness and lay another trap. This also goes for feign death.

How can Readiness Work with Bestial Wrath? You can't get both obviously. Maybe in Wrath, since it's moved to MM upper tier, but not currently. I'll be curious to know if anybody in beta have tried it. Yes it is a pet's ability, but it is activated by the player.
Yes Readiness is great for CC (2 Wyvern Stings on that Druid) and extending the time on rapid fire. Is it worthy of 41 points? Probably not. Better off taking that last point and put it in Scattered Shot IMO.

I'm not 100% on this, but I'll say it anyway.
I don't think Bestial Wrath works with readiness. Readiness resets cooldowns on Hunter abilities, and i think Bestial Wrath is a pet ability.
Someone somewhere on these forums made this point -
'If your pet is dead, you can't pop bestial wrath, thus making it a pet ability, not a hunter one.'
Fairly certain i read that on here
Whoever said that, i give you due credit.
Whether or not that's true, I'm not sure...but it does make a lotta sense.
I was the one who said it first as a conformation and an explination. But good job, I am glad someone reads my posts other than for argumentative purposes.

I'll say it again: all pet abilities are activated by the player. Growl, Dash/Dive, Bite/Claw/Smack, whatever. Your pet won't do a single one of them unless you tell it to. Setting an ability to auto-cast by right-clicking it in the pet action bar is equivalent to you telling it to do that ability every time the cooldown comes up (if it has enough focus). This applies to Kill Command and Bestial Wrath too: they are not abilities that your pet knows, but they are pet abilities. They are not Hunter abilities. They are abilities executed by your pet when you tell it to. Readiness resets the cooldown on your Hunter abilities, the stuff that you do, not your pet. Mend Pet is a healing spell that you cast on your pet. Remember, you used to channel that thing: it's a Hunter ability. If it had a cooldown, Readiness would reset it.
Also, Rapid Fire is terrible now that Steady and Auto are unlinked. Readiness just isn't good for BM PvE at all.

That is the best post that explains it coupled with mine. Still it will be nice to see some of the huntards running around with it THINKING that it will reset TBW and then QQ about once they try it out.
