WotLK causing AH market to sink?

Currently all raiding guilds are emptying their banks to not be left with tons of useless mats come wotlk. That's why a number of items are plummetting, and in particular all enchanting mats.
Enchanting mats are (at least on my server) pretty stable. Anyone can get them easily as you don't really need to have a raiding guild to get them. Also, the demand is high enough to sell these relatively high all the time.
The only prices that I see a huge drop in is, as I mentioned, items that will be useless, like Heart of Darkness and similar. They simply won't be used anymore, and there's an overflow of them in the game compared to the demand. Noone smart spends 1000 gold on 2 Hearts of Darkness along with other mats for a tier 5 quality item this close to WotLK. The main reason gems are falling is because the overflow of badges, and more people not needing the badge gear anymore.

omg...we need a Bailout Plan!
I think Blizz should inject 700billion gold into the failing WoW economy!
You win so hard.

And just how do you propose that blizzard will fund the gold needed for that plan? I'll be damned if I'm gonna send my money back into the system that caused this mess!
It's
unamerican
unazerothian!

Some of the prices on Stormreaver (EU)
Large prismatic shard: From 25g to 10g
Epic gems: From 250+ to 80-200g
Void Crystal: 50g to 20g
(Heart of Darkness: Don't remember what they cost before but 100g now)
I sold all of my enchanting mats and epic gems while they where expensive so I am happy :)

Don't panic because prices are dropping; now is the time to buy. The market will rebound soon.
Wait for all the 80s to start making 59 twink deathknights.
i don't believe in it.
all high-level items now will be somewhat useless in the xp. so.. everyone, like me, are selling everything in AH. is better to sell primals for 20g than 3g in xp.
i blame bush!
srry for mah bad english.

omfg gold inflation would skyrocket if they just coined that much gold!
Theill need to tax WoW players for that gold, I'M STILL MAKING PAYMENTS ON MY MOUNT!

Enchanting mats are (at least on my server) pretty stable.Divided by 2 or 3 on my server. While everyone can get them, raiding guild will get a number of green/epic items on each run and disenchant the lot of them and put them in guild bank. It's not necessarily that much per evening, but since its accumulated, when they offload it on the market they are much more influential than single players.

Not so much sink as go crazy. Won't people need the mats and stuff still? Apparently not according to people on my server.
