okey let summery
-5 % crit?even better is party wide and soon raid wide
-400% armor when in form
-immune to poly (but not sap ect)
a talent that give all 3 of them for 1 damn poitn? hell yeah! even teh 5 % crit alone is king
but worth ti? talent alone? no with rest of balance tree? YES
-more nature grace proc
-you can roll on caster gear whiteout worry so much on armor
-IFF make you a raid spot most will love have you with
-IS make boss harder to hit you tank and si cheap and mana effective so on...
if you look in LK talent's it will be much greater but the "Eluna touch"(hit for mana) is laughable as it is...
The only issue I have with moonkin is that you don't have the same kind of cool spells like a mage. Which always made me sad.
like what? pom pyro ect? well sooory but say when mage can heal and combat res, hots, travel faster, shape shift ect

The armour on Moonkin is more about solo'ing and 5-man ability. They're very durable in leather gear - like having a plate-wearing dps caster, and so can offtank, though at the cost of some lost dps.
The mana restore on hit is disappearing in WotLK, it was basically a way to make sure that Moonkin do not loose all dps when they go OOM and they can do a little melee to regain some mana. It was our equivalent of a wand, you regain is based on attack power, which is why moonkin has the AP bonus... the right thing to do is switch weapon to something with feral AP though, which boosts it significantly.
But it didn't work out, mostly because to make real use of it in raids you'd need to be running into combat range which costs a ton of time, and it's now becoming 2% of total mana regained on crit or something.
Overall though, moonkin druids rock:
- nice aura (5% crit)
- good dps (competitive with a mage once you get to 600 spelldamage)
- can offtank (armour and barkskin)
- best offspec healers in the game (many talents which boost both heal and dps)
- great utility (innervate, rebirth, tranq, imp faerie fire, insect swarm, motw)

this what most people forget and think balance is weaker then mage ect

It boosts it hugely. With healer weapon equipped i get about 70 mana back per melee hit, with my feral wepon on i get closer to 400 mana back for each hit. This is still not a very usefull ability in PvE. It's great if you are restokin in arena because you can HoT up your DPSer, go behind a pillar and hit a hunters pet for 20 secs or so and regain a HUGE amount of mana. It will make the other healer cry with frustration.
