I was thinking of farming up 60 badges and getting
Bonefist Gauntlets
for tanking. I'd link my armory but I signed out in dps gear and haven't paid for my account yet lol.
I have 3 pieces of the t4 set.
1
2
3
. I have 6 pieces of badge gear,
1
2
3
4
5
6
.
Barbed Choker of Discipline
which will be changed out for
Shattered Sun Pendant of Resolve
soon as I get exalted with Aldor. The ZA boots
Jungle Stompers
.
Violet Signet of the Great Protector
as my second tank ring.
Commendation of Kael'thas
and
Darkmoon Card: Vengeance
as my tank trinekts.
Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer
as my ranged weapon with a +8 hit gem.
This
is my tank shield and
this
is my sword. Everything is gemmed for stamina.
Based on my current gear, I was thinking the
Bonefist Gauntlets
would be a good upgrade. It has extra stamina, parry and hit, and only sacrifices some strength, agility and defense. Last I checked I was above 500 defense so I would be ok with that. Any opinions?

The gloves are great, well worth the badges.
Also, you can save a lot of item linking in the future by setting up a profile here:

These gloves are hand-down the best at your level of tanking for threat. Try to make it possible to wear them, and wear them often.
May I stress the fact you seem to be wearing one suit of armor? Start maximizing your stats by wearing them in "suits" & build a threat suit. For example, Dawnforged Defender is an awesome avoidance/threat shield, but for other purposes one may wish to go back to their heavy-duty tanking shield.

I would, but I don't really raid enough to get gear for multiple sets. For the level of raid content my guild is in, the gear I have been wearing has been great. It doesn't help that we're also gearing up other tanks so if something drops and they have crap items, they get it. Which is fine with me, it'll all get replaced when I get to level 80 so I'm not going to stress over it.

So in other words, you have settled for what you have & do not seek to further enhance your character to its maximum potential.
