+12 stamina.
Health > Mitigation for a druid most of the time.
increasing your ability to withstand damage doesnt help your healers one bit.
Mitigation > Avoidance > Hitpoints, assuming you have enough hitpoints to survive a particular boss' damage streaks.
It's one of the core issues of druid tanking before we really top out on avoidance and armor. A warrior, with block and parry over a druid, is going to take less damage over the duration of a fight, and thus needs less heals. The less healing a healer needs to do, the longer his mana pool lasts.
Anyways, I cant be sure of the OP's gear but I would strongly suggest more dodge. My druid on live right now is sitting at around 28k armor, 16~k health, and over 45% dodge unbuffed. Raid buffed I get up to 58% dodge / 29-30k armor / 20-21k health, and I havent had an issue tanking anything pre-sunwell yet.
Then again, I'm an agility *!@#$... there's just something about dodging almost every attack on a boss fight that feels awesome =)

There's my druid armory.
I do use all 9/12/15 stamina gems now, but my gear and enchants are loaded with agility.
Of course, it will change even more with WOTLK - druid gear at level 80 is entirely lacking in strength and intellect, and most of our armor peices have high agility/stamina/attack power over other stats.

Stacking stamina fails.
Stacking agility wins.

I have a druid that has around 45% dodge and 31k armor. It is mostly about your gear that makes you better rather than the gems. I stack straight stam gems, because it gets rather ridiculous when raid buffed I get over about 60% avoidance. I say you should pick up whatever area that you are lacking in.
Agi is good for little armor, good for pulling more threat, and good for dodge.
Stam is self exclamatory
Get your health to around 15k self buffed, then worry about getting the avoidance that you prefer.
PS. Make sure you are uncritable first and foremost (plus ... defence does add more to your avoidance)

My answer would be the majority to be 6 stam/4 agility and have 12 stam gems at a few places, or the other way around, depending on your tendencies. Stamina isn't better than agility, and the same goes for the other way around.
Stamina will increase your survivability against large spike damage. Dodge will make you less likely to be hit by that same spike damage. Do it depending on what kills you most of the time. If your healers OOM quickly, but you last quite easily until then, aim for more agility (dodge). If your healers have trouble keeping you up and always have mana left when you die, then get more health.
Both stats are great and crucial for tanking, but you must find a balance between the two. Too much stamina will make you, indeed, a big mana sponge. Too much dodge will make back-to-back crushes and unlucky non-dodging sprees quite deadly.
Also consider: Agi helps with threat. Armor and HP wont mean much if you cant hold the mobs attention.
