stnly,
I much prefer to think of myself as offering a very real perspective that a lot of "i can do anything" paladins choose to completely ignore.
I dont have an axe to grind nor do I have something to prove. My gear and my experience speaks for itself.
In both prot, and holy specs' I often like to challenge myself by taking on larger and larger groups of mobs. I find that in general I can actually tank through more as holy than prot but the obvious down side is continual casting. When you're constantly casting 1.5 fols, or 2.5/2 second hl's on yourself you leave yourself very open to being spell locked. I have died; maybe not often but multiple times to this very thing so Im painting this very real picture of it being dangerous if you try to aoe tank mobs that have the ability to spell lock you.
Also there is a type of comment in the english language caller hyperbole; hyperbole is grossly exagerating to make a point. I often use it because all too often I hear people running their mouths about their paladin did this, or their paladin did that. All too often they themselves grossly exagerate about their own accomplishments so in order to reign in their enthusiasm I go to the other extreme to call them out for it.
SO.. when you see someone boasting what their pally can do, the only thing that comes to mind is how to knock that smile off their face...or how to try and convince yourself that hey are wrong/lying...
Hmmm... smacks of jealousy.
Or perhaps a lack of knowledge of your class?
Hahahahaha.
Relax a bit.
It is, after all, a GAME.
Take it for what it is. FUN. when someone "running their mouths about their paladin did this, or their paladin did that." They are boasting of accomplishments that pleased them while they played their GAME.
Come come now mrmunkles, sit down... have your favorite beverage and snack.. and go PWN some NOOBS... ya might feel better.

On another note...
One thing I like to do from time to time is go to the lowbie areas and find someone who is new to the game.
I then proceed to Fully equip them and tudor them (usually a pally as that is where I am knowledgeable) . I have made many in game friends that way.. Plus after a bit o tudoring, usually you end up with a better player base.
Besides.... helping someone makes ya feel good.
And feeling good is what a game is for.
Cheers!

do you guys got this before whereby all my skills suddenly go into cold down...random CD time..sometimes 8 sec..sometimes 7...sometimes 6..and i cant do anything other than wait there and die in the end.. neeed help !
In both PvE and PvP certain classes/mobs have Silence and Interrupt effects. Silence effects halt your current cast and put all magic-based abilities on cooldown for several seconds. Interrupt effects (with a lock-out mechanism, like a Rogue's Improved Kick) halt your current cast also lock you out of using spells from the school of magic that you were casting when interrupted.
Since all of a Paladin's "spells" are classed as Holy, when you get interrupted with a lock-out effect, all your spells will go on cooldown at once. The other magic-using classes aren't quite as hindered by these; for example, if a Rogue kicks a Mage who is casting Frost Bolt, the Mage won't have access to any of his Frost spells for a few moments but can still pewpew with Fire and Arcane spells.
Common Lock-out Interrupts include Improved Kick (Rogue), Improved Shield Bash (Warrior), and Earth Shock (Shamans). There are probably others that I'm missing.
On a related note :P There's nothing quite as frustrating as a Paladin as going up against a Rogue/Priest/Shaman combo in Arena. That happened this past weekend and I think the only time I got a heal off was when I bubbled (and that only lasted a few moments before it got dispelled); the rest of the time I was either Silenced, Kicked, or Earth Shocked.
