It's possible, it will just take patience. As for the route to follow, I'm not sure, but my level my friend managed to make it there at level 10 after an hour or two of work.

lol i did this exact thing
all u have to do is get in the area north of BFD, you know the spot u spawn at if u die, just take rez sickness from it, then u walk all the way north til u hit a ali town, kinda like the equivalent of X-roads, NPC's are between 40-55 if i remember correctly(yes you have to go through the town) at the back of it is the pier and 3 boats, the one in the middle will take u to bloodymyst isle, or w/e its called, if u have a 70 its easy, 5 min tops, if u don't then u will die almost 40 times unless u are smart enough to go on the boat in ghost after the first death and spawn on the isle itself,
PS
get teh lvl 9-10 ravagers, i believe there along the beach, they have the best/most abilities, all other ravagers come with just gore, this one gets gore and bite

There are lvl 1 races on alliance side from SW to IF (without taking the tram), so i'd say yours is possible too :)

hehehe
only if they use flight master :)
walk north to ashenvale, northwest to darkshore, go thru auberdine and take the boat to exodar/azuremyst, walk north to bloodmyst
the only trick is that he isn't quite alliance.
when taking a boat, die and ress on the boat when the boat is about to go.
also, do not go to ashenvale from barrens, i know that the guy above me did not even take a closer look at the map (but felt an urge to post) the thing is that you should try to go to Stonetalon, and then to Ashenvale, to avoid high level mobs in east Ashenvale.

Uhh... and how is a level 14 hunter supposed to survive the mobs in stonetalon long enough to take that tunnel? There's level 20-ish mobs in that area. At least the path through the barrens is on roads.

It's not ridiculously easy, but possible. Your biggest issue will probably be getting on the boat (since the guards will not leash until you get on the boat if you try to run across the pier). You'll probably have to body-flop a bit over to it and then wait til the boat arrives before you res and immediately book it onto the boat. As for getting thru Ashenvale and all that, it's really not so bad (swim through the Alliance camp's water, don't try to walk around). I took a level 14 tauren hunter out there to tame
Shadowclaw
and it was actually a surprisingly painless process, I don't see why Bloodmyst would be much worse once you get past the boat.

I never said they'd do it without dying, but it's a fun event that happened sometime in probably most of alliance realms. Here's a movie from a quick google search (i guess you could find more on world of warcraft community sites) :

/facepalm
OK, here we go...
After those Barrens roads comes West Ashenvale, that has mobs 25-28 lvl.
I suppose I should add that 25-ish>20-ish (for the sake of clarity)

I haven't encountered any mobs on the roads of Ashenvale until Astranaar, and even then it was a single bear at level 24.
The zones are kind of designed to keep mobs OFF the roads at low levels like that, in case you forgot.
@ OP: Stay on the damn roads, go barrens->ashenvale->darkshore->die alot in the alliance town while you take the boat ->Bloodmyst
