In T6 content with T6 gear you would normally expect (in none special cases like Brutallus) something around:
Destro Warlock ~2000 DPS
Ret Paladin ~1600-1800 DPS
That Destro Warlock might bring +10% damage to his fellow warlocks as well as mages and shadow priests from
Curse of Elements and some health stones.
The Ret paladin will bring
2% damage for his group,
3% offensive crit chance to whole raid and the often overlooked extra mana regen from
Judgement of Wisdom.
Now depending on what DPS the rest of your raid does, and how that scales with crit chance, the paladin could, overall increase the rest of the raids damage by 600, even 800 just with his debuffs. So overall he would be contributing 2200-2400 DPS, but the same could be said with the warlock and his
Curse of Elements, depending on how many mages, shadow priests and warlocks are in the raid.
Also remember, it is much easier to DPS as a warlock in PvE than as a paladin, do you want to chill your way though, just using two spells (and one of them only once every 2mins) and only having to worry about when to use your potions or trinkets, or when to move? Or do you want the challenge of having to pick between 4 or 5 DPS spells to prioritizes all on short cooldowns, on top of managing potions, trinkets, Avenging Wrath/Divine Shield and your movement?
