Ok, so I figured I would give a heads up on what I personally do when I see a lock and think :) free HK!
First thing I have seen here is that rogues open with cheap shot. I generally try to keep the stun diminishing returns to a minimum and so I open with garrotte ( only use cheap shot for other rogues or druids in cat form ). I like the little mental pic I get when the lock/mage is standing there going "WTF! why cant I cast!" (After level 64 garrotte has a 3sec silence)
Ok so I have just opened with a dot, have you silenced and generally standing there spaming HoT or Fear. But, I digress...
Garrotte, hemo hemo, watch my timers on silence, CloS, hemo hemo hemo, and... Kidney shot... Now, you can trinket out... or not... I get behind you anyway, if you trinket, I can vanish between dot ticks and garrote again ( I use trinity bars and have virtually no lag when I stance change) again with the three second silence, and you're looking at the spirit rezer.
Now, I have no idea how to combat this series of events and welcome a discussion on it. As I was taught this by other rogues and know that now that I am playing on a new server and have decided the weakest class I face is the one I want to play well - I'd like to know how to combat myself... so to speak :)

Due to unbalanced melee weapon scaling vs. spell damage, plus spell pushback, your class is currently overpowered in PvP. This is not a whine, it is a fact. I can beat almost any Rogue UNLESS they have all their cooldowns up then run and vanish.

How to beat rogues, part1:
- Stack ~490 resilience (I have 480 atm)
- Stack stamina over 13,000 (I have 14,150 atm)
- Hope your rogue doesn't have more than 1-2 pieces of s4, nor not more than 2-3 pieces of s3
- Hope the rogue doesn't have warglaives, s3 or s4 weapons
- spec SL/SL
- Profit.
If the rogue is fully s3 or almost full s4... you're dead.
I always attack a rogue who is wearing welfare s2 epixx :-)
So... Not really a way for a fresh pvp'ing warlock to sustain for what looks like about 2-3 months of honor grinding...

Is my rogue so no one thinks I'm talking out my rear. But I really do enjoy my glass cannon so to speak. It does, at least, explain why every warlock within casting range tries to burn me fast and hard. It's like if I pop and start on some random other class, I have focus fire from every warlock and mage in range. <shrug> Almost feel loved... lol
Anyway, just thought i'd drop in and try to help out a bit, I don't know if there is a counter to it, but I thought I'd put it out there. I have seen a couple other "how to beet a rogue with X spec" articles and everyone of them open with cheap shot... and go through alot of things I dont do myself (mainly because of what was written as ways to escape it have happened to me and I learn quicly from my mistakes.
So... discuss on..
Thanks

Well with similar gearsetup as you, wellfare epics/few kara drops the rock-paper-scissor class balance of WoW-PvP make you the winner 9/10 against a warlock. If you get the jump and the warlock isnt lucky with resists that is.
If you turn the table and put you up against a mage with wellfare/kara the mage will nail you 9/10 times, these examples are based upon you knowing you class well in PvP aswell as the opponent.
The reason you get focused fired is because an exposed rogue is a easy kill, even with high resilience you go down pretty fast because of low hp's. And the only class i'd focus fire on over a rogue would be a healer and maybe a mage because they are also annoying when they are alive and are also squishy.
