Contest Suggestion

With the image contest totally botched (not at all your fault, WoWhead staff), I took the liberty to come up with some contest ideas.
Lore Contest: Whoever can make the most accurate and succinct summary of WoW lore wins.
Trivia Contest: Whoever can present the most totally random facts about WoW wins.
As you can see, none of these are based on speed and luck, two things which a believe serve as somewhat imbalanced contest judges.

Perhaps you could give the remaining keys to the next fastest on the first day? As i doubt there would have been such cheaters in place at this time.

I think speed is good, cant say the name that screenshot was based on luck.
Speed can be determined by a lot of outside factors, such as computer speed, e-mail speed, bandwidth problems, etc...
And I was referring to the Olympic Achievement contest with luck.

On a sidenote was does short order mean, not to be rude or anything, but does it mean its possible to resume in a few hours? or can we go to sleep without worrying?
Short order is an idiom for "very quickly". I guess it will be announced later, done tomorrow or something.

I wonder how many of the winners are going to turn and sell their card on Ebay.
Depends, the ones who cheated would probably have done it to sell.

Couldn't they continue the "Name That Screenshot" contest if they hosted the images on a separate image host from Wowhead's DB, or re-uploaded them in a different folder, or something? If what I'm understanding the problem is -- being that cheaters downloaded the entire DB and found what pages linked to that image, or whatever -- it seems like relocating the images used in the contest would make it feasible to continue.
As far as other contest ideas... I don't feel like speed is the best, really, because it cuts out a lot of people on slower internet connections. But I don't like randomness either. The comment contest was the best one Wowhead ever ran, I think, even with the rampant unnecessary downgrading.

In the meantime, remember that a patience is the mark of a true Jedi.

Now that that's over with, I understand they want balance, but I would like to see a contest a least slightly based on intelligence instead of the ability to have incredible luck with an RNG, or connection speed.
I realize that I will get a lot of opposition from that statement, and I'm not trying to get at the position of "I have the mini figurines, I killed Kel'thuzard and KJ, I played Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, and I love Blizzard very huggy muggy much". No. Blizzard wants all sorts of people in the beta. New players, whiners, non-raiders or PvP-ers, everything. However, I
do
think that Blizzard would prefer someone with the ability to give intelligent feedback instead of the garbled lolspeak which is so pleasantly absent from the majority of these forums.
Let's say for example, that you are Blizzard. You are trying to fix a bug where the player rides a vehicle and gets stuck in a wall.
Would you rather read:
"im in this thing in a wal and im sztuk get me out lol i have a guild meeting soon"
or
"I was on quest X trying to kill NPC Y in the quest vehicle, but I walked into the wall and now I cannot move. I used sprint previous to this, which glitched the animation, and I ran into a wall."
Don't pay attention to grammar or lack thereof. The main difference is that player A just describes his problem and requests a solution, where player B describes his problem and the circumstances surrounding it. Without the information about Sprint, Blizzard would have no idea why the player got stuck in the wall.
Ok, my long rant is over.
TL;DR version: For beta, all kinds of players are good, but players must be able to communicate effectively.
