I'm not aware of a free comprehensive leveling guide; most of the time people charge for them and are rabid about not letting them get released in pirated copies.
That said, there's an add-on called QuestHelper that might be of interest. It marks your quest objectives - either items that you need to pick up, or the general location of mobs you need to kill - on your map and mini-map; it displays an arrow on the mini-map pointing toward your nearest quest objective or quest turn-in; it revamps your tooltip (the pop-up you get when mousing over an enemy) to display more detailed information, like "Kill for 6 more ", and can share this information with others in the party who use QuestHelper; and lastly it puts "ant trails" (little dashed lines) on your map and mini-map to show you the most resourceful route to go from objective to objective.

He does have a point though, you should learn to do it all yourself like the majority of people do. Using a guide takes out a lot of fun from the game and they don't even always work well tbh.

While QuestHelper can indeed be useful at times, it doesn't tell you which quests to pick up and which to leave. Only experience yields that information =)

Leveling guide for all classes/races: Find a zone around your level, via the zone information found on WoWhead if you need it. Run around the zone and gather up ALL of the quests you can find. Grind these quests until you are high enough to enter another zone. Instances get you gear but you'll quickly find they give much less exp than just plain quest grinding. A great addon for this is called QuestHelper, shows you where to go on the map for that next quest.

I'd recommend TourGuide if you want something that holds your hand all the way through.

Jame's leveling guides are free, and they're just as good, if not better, than the ones you have to pay for.

I found using this to be quite a lot faster than leveling without the guide, although some might get bored of leveling this way. Oh, and get Questhelper, it helps you find the stuff the guide tells you to find. Just disable the ant-trails and you're good.

Just pick a quest, complete it's objective (use wowhead for indications), hand the quest in.
This sounds incredibely stupid but it worked for me. Most of the quests with the awful droprates have been 'fixed' so to speak. No super-duper levelling guide is needed if you ask me.

To be honest, follow the quests from the start, they'll lead you onto your newer areas and eventually you'll just follow a pattern of quests that'll lead you onto a new but higher leveled areas
