Best gear for what? Shadow? Please be more clear when making future threads.
Take a look at our
weighted scale
for different classes. Filter through the results to see any slots you may desire. It's typically ranked by the "best gear ever" for the specified class.

Because some times on the wowhead forums, we see a topic like: What's better between "kick ass item number 1" and "kick ass item number 2".
The fact is if you have access to those items, you don't need help to know wich one is better for you because you know your class mechanics, what stats you need to boost and how wich and wich item will suit you best.
But if you have access to those items but you don't know how your class works you are probably:
1. Buying the item from a guild.
2. Playing on a private server
Sorry if I offend you but after a few of those, you got sick of them.
