Try this out instead.
Should do you fine all the way to 70. As to your finished build, something like..

I'm not a prot paladin but I'm levelling as one myself and this will be the build I should finish up with.

If you're prot, with 42 points, Arannia's build is good. But once you hit 70, you're going to want something more like
this
.
For why the changes to the 70 build: Precision won't help you much, you can choke down the extra miss chance you're facing without a significant loss to your threat output. Pursuit of justice won't help you much, and those points are better spent elsewhere (see below). The damage reduction by spell warding is so little as to be nearly not worth it, and even though spells are going to be the biggest damage you take, more often than not your group will feature at least one person who can interrupt/silence temporarily. Also, you getting hurt = more mana for you = more threat output. Imp. HoJ is always a nice idea, because the cd on that baby can never be too low.
Going to say this because it needs to be said whenever possible: One-handed specialization in the protection tree increases ALL damage, not just your weapon damage, by 5%. Passing it up is a
very, very
bad idea.
(Go ahead, tear apart at your leisure, forums.)

1H spec is superior to Reckoning. Reckoning will never give you 5% more damage (and the increase in threat) that you get from !H spec. Ever. It's a broken talent that gets worse as you gear up. Reckoning will not increase the damage and threat generated when you pull with AS. It won't increase your damage and threat when consecrating to keep multiple mobs on you. It won't give you 5% more holy damage from your seals...But 1H spec will.

Without precision, you miss more. Miss = zero threat. That 3% is spell and melee hit. You need it.
Spell Warding + Improved RF = 10% less spell damage. This is seriously a no-brainer.

You just contradicted yourself. Stunned mobs do no damage (which equals less healing and mana for you), and bosses are immune to HoJ. Improved HoJ is useless in a tank build.
