So with my Cookie cutter Hemo shs I am Currently trying to pick out a Main Hand, I will probably go shiv for OH but Main hand, Having trouble deciding between Fist sword and mace.
Fist would require the least effort and looks pretty cool, but then some of the Glad swords are nice too.
Does it really matter min/max wise which one?
And What is YOUR favorite weapon for PvP and why?

My pick is the maces.
Fists don't show enchants and are invisible while sheathed. Merci/glad swords don't show enchants. Maces on the other hand look pretty bad-ass.
However, I'd always take swords over anything else, just for the occasional pve action on the side.

Yeah I wish the fists showed cause they look the coolest to me. Also there is no advantage to having a matching OH as opposed to the dagger OH?

Hmm...
Sword raiding = spamming SS
If you like pressing a hotkey and thinking "am i top on dps yet? am i top on dps yet?" then go for it. But, if you want to have a little bit more fun and change things up a bit, go for Combat Mutilate (
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0efoEMoizVo0eV0bV
). Many rogues who use that spec are (if they're skilled with their class) around the same danage output as a Combat Swords rogue. And you get to play with skillz instead of spamming hotkeys all day! Instead of thinking "am i top dps? am i top dps? i love this hotkey yayayayay!" you'll be thinking "woot! im high dps and having funn while doing it!" In my experiences with this spec, if you're skilled enough as a rogue (and geared good) you can easily out dps a combat swords rogue. Though combat swords is the easiest damage dealing build, and the most accepted by tard muffins who have no skill with their class, this one is more fun to play as.
More on the PvP aspect, a lot more skills are available for burst damage while wielding daggers. Ambush (mmm... massive critting clothies), backstab, and mutlilate. A tactic i like to use is Ambush, Gouge (Imp Gouge for longer stun, needed for this), restealth, sap (keeps em from running and allows you to position), Ambush again.... then pwn pwn or do it all over again, unless you have a DoT on them cuz that breaks stun. Swords for PvP are bit diff, not too much focus on the abilites, but if you're chasing someone the high white damage is likely to be a big pain in their ass. Spamming SS and then eviscerate or rupture is the basic to-do unless you perfer the ever-loved by n00bs stun lock. Maces are ok too, with mace spec you get an extra stun when it procs, pretty nice to get a free Kindey Shot imo... but again, not much use of abilites. Fists are basically the same as swords, tho some are faster so better poison proc.
Mutilate requires daggers, so thats the weapon of choice here. I love daggers (lvled 1 - 52 subt daggers, poisons proc more often and they look cool. Seriously... daggers ARE rogue. imo, if you wanna dual weild swords and go smacky smacky slash slash, roll a fury warr. Rogues have way too many abilites to make combos with (a few require daggers) that will leave your opponent (in PvP) wondering wtf just happened to him/her... You can always expect a Combat Swords rogue to stun lock. I don't see the point in this tactic myself, its a waste of combo points and essentially useless if they trinket out of it. But in PvE stun lock can work wonders, tho not advised for instances if you have a druid or warr tank since they generate rage from damage done to them.
So before you go telling ppl that they have to spec a certain way, give them all the facts. If one thing works for you, cool beans man. But it might not be right for another player.
So basically, the moral of my story is this:
Swords = high white damage and spamming ss, easy to get to top of dps charts in dungeons and raids
Daggers = higher use of rogue skills, more variations, better poison proc, takes a lilttle more skill
Maces = look baddass but mace spec only good for PvP

There is no difference in weapons from the same season.
Maces and Fist Weapons have a lower lowest dmg and a higher highest dmg than Swords.

Maces, Swords, Fists for damage.
Daggers for versatility.

i lvled my fist rogue alliance assasination from 10 to 40, after respected combat, and lvl 50 i respected mutilate to 70 and after i pvp a little bit to get both gladiator sword because i dont realy see where Mutilate is more fun than Combat sword.
3 skill need a daguer, backstab, ambush and mutilate.
if you are mutilate spec, you will probably not open with ambush (in group or raid you can get aggro if you do it too quickly, if you wait too much you will loose to much dmg time, you will do garotte anyway) if you solo, you will not be able to mutilate the target because it will face you as soon as you attack. so you will open with cheap shot anyway
same point for backstab, cheapshot will be your opener.
what i found is that if you cannot kill your target quickly with mutilate, you get in the trouble. I was able to solo elite mob a lot easier with combat sword than with mutilate. (if the mob is stun immune, dont even think about it)
I think is the fact that if you have a dagguer you absolutelly need to be behind your target and some time it can be fun, some time it can be realy frustrating when your CS or KS is being dodged. In raid it word realy well but i dont see where there is more fun doing
gar - SS -SS SnD - etc....
Than gar Mutil, SnD, Mut - Mut - SnD etc...
In pvp Mutilate is fun but if your target have a lot of resilience, you will loose the great combo point generation that an Assassination build can give.
Right now i'm leveling an horde rogue and i'm still using sword exect that i got some macro to switch my MH to a daguer to ambush but now that i have CS, i always do it because yes ambush is a lot of damage when you crit, but by the time the target is stunned with CS ill do same amount of damage but with more combo point to restun / finish the target
