WotLK talent changes. Too early to be disappointed?

So, we have all seen the new talents everyone is getting. We are also able to see how some classes have either had their talents merged, decreased in cost and even totally reworked.
Since this isn't the General forum, I will avoid talking about other classes.
The topic here is the Rogue talents.
It seems like Blizzard decided on certain talents they liked, and so far have not changed much if anything since..alpha. Well they fixed a typo, but whatever.
Is this to say that our talent tress are perfect atm?
I'm not sure the new talents excite me much either, with the fairly bloated Assassination tree, that has a 5/5 talent that kinda fails in logic of use, and a 51pt talent that should have been in Combat. Combat has a couple PvP talents that should have gone in Sub, and a 51pt talent that makes more sense in Assassination. And sub...wtf Daggers are back?...nah...
Perhaps it is still early....but seeing how other classes progress through the Beta talent-wise, while Rogues remain stagnant, is sorta disappointing. But who knows, maybe we'll be getting our polish soon.
/end rant

Yes.
There will certainly be a rogue 'polish' session. The devs work collaboratively, and only focus on a handful of things at one time.
Unfortunately since our role is "best single target dps" our polish session comes last (cause you can only be the best when you know where everyone else stands).
Also, keep in mind that a lot of our dps is based on our itemization as well, so honestly it's really all up in the air.

i have seen talents, and the work seems good. as always we have pvp talents in combat and so on, but which class doesn't have? look at shadow priests for example.
anyway, we all need to TRY them. we cannot say what is good and what is not till we have tried all specs, gone into istances and raid, done some pvp.
daggers needed a big boost, and they have given us it. they have putted a working (maybe) vanish in sub, and given us some aoe for preventing us goin afk in aoe pulls. as i said, it seems a good work. but again, need to try.

I'm not completely bashing our new talents, some of the are damn awesome. But it seems like my Rogue will have nothing new to do besides spamming my one ability SnDing and Rupturing, like I have done since release.

The "problem" is that all a Rogue can do is damage, and so has 3 trees to reflect that. Trying to force a tree into a PvP mould (and yet another into a PvE mould) still leaves another Tree spare. It's not needed. So it's full of waste spread out to justify its existence.
Ye i'd agree with this. A few other classes suffer from the same problem, notably mages. They have a PvP tree (Frost) and Raid tree (Fire) and a 3rd tree (Arcane) that tries to achieve variations on damage dealing for PvE, but is deeply flawed and about a 3rd of the talents in the tree have almost no practical use.
I'd like to see some talents for Rogues that help grp synergy a bit more. Along the lines of imp Expose Armor, but better and more powerful, to justify actually speccing for it. Like deep into Assasination have a Leader of the Pack type aura and an imp Leader of the Pack type proc. I think some of the new talents for Survival Hunters are good example of the sort of thing that could be achieved.
