Right, there is no "best" tanking class. All three can be a main tank, including druids, and will do well in certain encounters and have real trouble in others. Since every tanking class will have trouble at some point I suggest you pick a class based on some other factor.
What level of progression do you expect your guild to be at when you are ready to tank for them, do those encounters favor one of the tanks or are they particularly hard for another? Would it be significantly easier to gear one tank vs another? Are the alternate roles one class can fill more valuable or interesting than the others? Would you level much faster with one of the classes?

BT is only "relatively high" now?
In any case, yes. Druids can and do tank tier 6 level content. As mentioned previously some fights will work well for a druid tank while they will have a hard time with others and the other tanking classes will have similar issues with different combinations of bosses.
Most of the bosses in Hyjal and BT require multiple tanks to handle different targets, split damage, or take turns tanking. Expect to be one of several tanks in such a raid and which one of you is the "main tank" will depend on both the encounter and your respective gear.
A number of these bosses do not have crushing blows which is very much to a druid's advantage however that certainly does not guarantee that a druid is the best choice for any particular raid group.
In the raids I participate in druid tanks have been considered a viable option in all 9 of the Hyjal and BT boss fights I have seen although we have not used a druid tank for all of them. In some cases we want an uncrushable tank, in others we need a warrior who can avoid fears, and in some we'll use a paladin or warrior because we have more tanks than we need and our druid tanks do a better job dealing damage than a protection warrior or paladin can.
Off hand the two cases I can think of where we would really not use a druid tank are 1. fights where a single tank must hold more than 3 targets(paladins win) and 2. fights where the tank must avoid fears(warrior win unless the group has a large number of fear wards or tremor totems available).
So yes, druid can tank high level content. They're not better or worse than the other tanking options, just different, and which one is best at the moment depends more on the players available than the class.
