As Im waiting for WOTLK to hit the stores Im pretty much bored and since I will be rolling a DK as a main once possible I've been looking at the talents, here is what I've came up with:
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=jfVMqc0IofZZfMrI0foMxqo0o
I will most likely mainly be playing pvp, so ye.. I really have no clue about how that spec will work out, afterall I havnt even played a DK yet so I wouldnt be surprised if that build is totally useless. I had Necrosis before but read some negative comments about it in this thread so exchanged it for Outbreak and Virulence.
So what Im asking is pretty much:
- Is the build to begin with even viable for PVP, if not, is there any similiar builds which are?
- If it now will be viable for PVP, do you believe it's something I will be able to use from the start or shall I just respec @ 80?
- If the build is totally useless and there isnt any similiar builds, would you mind linking a unholy and/or blood build, which would work in pvp.
Lastly, this may not be the place but since Im already writing a post here and Im just way too lazy to make another one, anyone got any screens of Troll DK's ingame?

I have decided, due to how cool it would be to raid this spec, to spec Unholy. This is my basic Unholy PvE build that I am sure that most--if not all of you--have seen.
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=jfVMVZZfMMIzskgcqMcout
Basic goal is to keep the DPS up by having gargoyle and ghoul out when possible and to roll the diseases.
I am, however, confused as to what build to use for Frost. There are 11 pages here--and most of them deal with people going ape-s over blood single target DPS.
With the advent of duel-spec being implimented, I want to have a spec open for when I want to roll through instances with my buddies.
This is what I have come up with.

I tried to make it so that when I do hit with spells that they are big and hit hard. Additionally, I wanted to have my dodge and parry be up there too since we are not able to sword-and-board it like warriors and paladins.
Please critique my tank spec. I want to improve on that.

Ok.. I have a talent question. With the Blood, Frost, and Unholy Auras, do you have to be in the respective presence to get the effect.
For example: If I were to spec into blood and take Blood Aura, would I be able to, say, tank using Frost Presence, but still have the effect of Blood Aura? Or would I only get the effect of Blood Aura while using Blood Presence?
Since each tree has it's own aura that you can spec into with completely different bonuses, I'm going to assume that in order to gain the benefit from that aura you would have to be in the same presence. I am using the Paladin & Warrior models for this supposition: i.e. - you don't get the benefit of Sanctity Aura if the Paladin has Concentration Aura up. Additionally, Warriors have specific abilities that they can only use in specific stances.
Thanks for the reply, and that's what I'm thinking as well, but what makes me wonder is the fact that the other classes' abilities specify that you have to be in a certain stance. Even the Paladin's Sanctified Retribution specifies that you must use Retribution Aura. However, the Death Knight talents nowhere say that you have to be in the presence. Can anyone in the beta test this? I'd much appreciate it. :)
"The Auras and Presences are completely unrelated to each other. The only thing to keep in mind is that when the bonuses overlap, they do not stack on the Death Knight himself. But the aura will still be up and effecting anyone in the Death Knight's party that is within range."

OK. I fixed it.
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=j0xGZGx0t0edRhRVost0gM
It does make sense to have 30% increase Frost damage. I totally over looked that aspect and did not think that Killing Machine would be not that effective with a 2H weapon. Also, I forgot about Morbidity. I was just thinking that generating more runic power through being struck would be more beneficial...however that not more than once every 20 seconds is a killer imo.
Thank you for that critique.

O damn. I did not see what talent that was and was confused as to what the hell you were talking about.
Where would you put those two points at then?

I'm looking for a speedy levelling spec. I will be going frost @ 80 for tanktown funtimes.
Is it worth speccing 17 points into Unholy purely for On a Pale Horse? I want to 'catch up' to Northrend as fast as possible, so 20% mount speed increase sounds like a great idea to me.
I'm thinking of speccing into blood heavily to reduce downtime. My Level 55 spec will be something like:
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=jf0GqIchoZZfM0Ikb
With the next points spent on Bloody Vengeance and Blood Worms.
What would be the kind of rotation I would expect to use for this spec? I do not have access to the beta and am finding it difficult to follow the ElitistJerks thread. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
