If you don't go into Holy more than 11 points, you will miss
15% reduced cost of G.Heal
10% increase of all of your healing spells
10% increase to CoH and PoM
40% +heal to your G.Heal, 20% +heal to F.Heal
9% chance to get a free G.Heal/F.Heal/B.Heal
25% mana return on overheals
If you try to Main heal with a Discipline spec, you'll be starving your tank of rage and therefore threat and your heals will be weak.
Don't count on being a MT healer with the new Disc Tree... there might be a place for raid healing and PW:S on dps (if it works on raid members... I was hoping a beta person could test that in a raid), but that's about it.

Serendipity-Is good....but this truly is the talent that now requires you to spam Greater Heal or Flash Heal like crazy in order to make it useful. Also, you have it misworded. It only refunds if you over heal by 50% of healing the spell would have done (GHeal hits for 8k, only heals them less than 4k, you get mana back. Otherwise, no refund).
He doesn't have it misworded, the talent was changed. There is no percent overheal requirement.

Not going to spend a lot of time argueing the point, but this is incredibly useful in raids. It doesn't matter if you're spamming or not, you will get some overheal. I find it hard to find fault in something that increases mana efficiency.
There is no real benefit (other than a bigger heal) for critting.
Tanks would strongly disagree.

You missed that Holy concentration only is chance on CRIT HEAL now, not just on any cast. Big Big chance that will push Holy priests towards crit on their healing gear, and Holy Spec in Tier 1.

Now, I'm going to agree, the end talent in Holy isn't as bad as many people think, but the real problem lies in the just plain mixed up-ness that is Holy in the Beta builds. There is no focus whatsoever. Are we casting CoH? Are we casting GHeal? Are we now going to spam Flash heals? It's just too mixed up. I would more have preferred a bigger focus on just CoH and Gheal and changed the focus of Disc to shields (prevention) and flash heals.
You my friend should have rolled a paladin and have only 2 healing spells to play around with and less things to cry about...

I just healed ZA on the public test server in deep disc spec, about 1k HPS, and PW:Shield does work on other raid members out side of the party.

Just out of curiousity, how did the tank do with rage? Just seems like PW:S would be absorbing so much, that you wouldn't need to be healing as much, therefore no rage or mp getting generated. Since it worked for you, I'm just wondering how you found that. Were you chain casting PW:S on the tank, or were you raid healing? (I'm assuming you had that last talent that makes PW:S absorb 40% more).
