in the end it's gonna be like this:
New Expansions, new level cap, new content, new races, new classes...
that's what the community expects and Blizz would be dumb not to do it...

Im leveling my third serious character, got a pally upto 70 and didnt wanna tank anymore so i went to a lock and got him upto 70, all that i have left for him is raiding which has time limits etc on it so in my spare time im lvling a druid. They are going to be so op in this expansion i need to have one to keep from complaining bout them. Leveling is fun, and to those who dont think so, im sorry you are missing out. If it becomes that much of an issue later on, not only will they reduce requirements for leveling but they might also offer higher starting levels as was talked about before. A 55 DK is a great start to that, and he will be my 4th 70 and eventually ill have 4 lvl 80s out there, each with their own role. If you get bored with the game than its ur own fault for not liking a huge portion of it. There's tanking, healing, and dps of all types. If you only like one of those niches then you are making wow life difficult for yourself. S'all good. My only real worry is that after i got to 70 i converted professions from one gathering and creating to two creating profs and dont wanna drop either of em on any of my characters. I'll figure out another way to make money, no big.

Here's what I dream but don't expect to see:
1) After meeting the technological requirements, merging of servers in groups of 2-3, according to their populations.
2) Guild-or-character-specific buildings.
3) Decreasing the uncommon/rare/epic item drop rates dramatically and allowing much, much more items to be crafted by players thus making professions a necessity and the only reliable way of low level (1-79) itemization.
4) Possiblity of carrying one more player on your mount for a limited time, giving both to him/her and your mount (to you actually) a temporary debuff to prevent doing that regularly.
5) Adding (maybe limited) repairing abilites to item cratfing professions for their respective types of armors/weapons.
6) Allowing hunters to tame suitable beasts to use as mounts.
7) Allowing death knights, paladins and warlocks to summon flying creatures as mounts from their respective "arcades".
8) Allowing rogues to steal opposing factions' mounts from mount merchants.
9) Allowing engineers to craft floating mounts.
10) Making some talents depend on gear level.
11) Removing the talent changing cost but adding a stacking debuff, making you lose some of your maximum talent points temporarily (something like resurrection sickness, just more painful).
12) Implementing an option to LFG tool, where you could define yourself as dps, healer or tank and making up a group automatically as fast as possible.
13) Quests rarely sending people to old places to face new types of creatures or take part in events that can only be available via having the required progression in the quest line.
14) Master Yoda
Maybe I'll add more in the future.

I think if there is another expansion after this then it might just be five levels added. Along with two new races and a new hero class. Plus a new profession and a lot of new things for the old professions.
